Key responsibilities
• develop and maintain KDB+/q based data solutions and analytics• build and enhance data pipelines, data models and reporting datasets
• analyse and process large-scale data sets
• partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions
• investigate complex data issues and drive root-cause analysis
• support production applications and contribute to platform stability, performance and data quality
• collaborate with engineering teams to improve and modernize the broader data platform
The team
The Financing Data & Analytics team develops and supports data products, analytics and reporting capabilities used across the Investment Bank's Financing business.We work with large-scale trade and position data, partnering closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to solve complex data challenges and deliver scalable data solutions. Our team values analytical thinking, problem solving, collaboration and a strong sense of ownership.
Your skills and experience
• extensive hands-on KDB+/q development experience• experience working with trade data within an Investment Banking environment
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate complex data challenges
• experience working with large and complex datasets
• good understanding of Linux environments
• experience supporting business-critical production applications
• excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
