We are looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our Life & Structured Reinsurance Pricing team in Dubai. Your Role
- Support the pricing of individual life, group life and structured reinsurance opportunities across the Middle East and Africa.
- Analyse data and provide actuarial insights to support underwriting and pricing decisions.
- Develop and maintain pricing tools, actuarial models and portfolio monitoring solutions.
- Conduct experience studies, portfolio reviews and performance analyses.
- Support the development of automated solutions and AI-enabled tools to improve actuarial processes and decision-making.
- Collaborate with underwriting, client management and regional actuarial teams on business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare technical analyses, presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to projects focused on innovation, digitalisation and continuous improvement.
Your Profile
- University degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline.
- Progress towards a recognised actuarial qualification (SOA, IFoA or equivalent).
- Relevant experience within insurance, reinsurance, actuarial consulting or a quantitative analytical role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in programming languages such as Python, R or SQL.
- Knowledge of data analytics, automation tools and AI technologies would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, curious and eager to learn.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multicultural team.
