We support our customers at key moments in their lives through innovative digital solutions, data-driven decision-making, and secure information exchange.
The Bridge Team plays a strategic role in enabling secure access to external credit, collateral, sustainability, and regulatory data across ABN AMRO and its affiliated entities. Through APIs and data integration solutions, the team facilitates the exchange of critical external data required for risk management, lending, collateral valuation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
We are looking for an experienced Business Developer (Data) to drive the evolution of our external data and API platforms, including initiatives such as Enterprise Kadaster API, ESG-related datasets, CDDS integrations, external collateral services, and future strategic data products.
Your job
As a Business Developer, you focus on enabling external data and API-driven solutions that support lending, collateral, sustainability, and regulatory processes. You do this by translating business needs, product improvements, and regulatory requirements into valuable solutions that align with developments in data, technology, digitalisation, and compliance.
You work closely with Product Owners, Data Owners, Architects, and development teams to ensure stakeholder requirements are understood, prioritized, and delivered effectively. You are able to translate business and data requirements into proposals on how improvements in data quality, efficiency, governance, and customer value can be achieved. You provide advice and guidance to internal and external stakeholders and create support for implementing change.
Furthermore, you are:
- a knowledgeable sparring partner for the team, stakeholders, and data consumers
- working with stakeholders to gather, challenge, and prioritize requirements and intake requests
- translating business and data requirements into possible solutions together with architects and development teams
- supporting API onboarding, external data integrations, and data ownership discussions
- coordinating with Data Owners, Business Process Managers, Risk, Compliance, and other stakeholders
- working with Agile teams to realise deliveries and achieve business objectives
- presenting results, facilitating workshops, and supporting knowledge transfer where applicable
- participating in cross-grid and cross-domain change initiatives
- implementing improvements in processes, data flows, and applications within the Bridge landscape
Working environment
You will join the Credits Domain Data Store (CDDS) team, a central data platform within the Credit Domain that enables data-driven decision-making across the bank.
The team operates at the intersection of business and technology, working in a dynamic environment where strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, and innovation come together. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with stakeholders from Business, Risk, Data, Analytics, Architecture, and Engineering.
Within CDDS, ownership, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing are highly valued. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the bank's credit data landscape while working on complex and impactful challenges that influence lending, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
