IT Business Analyst & Tester – Master Data Management
Your Role
Get to the heart of customer needs by analysing insurance processes, data, and systems, and by validating both functional and non-functional requirements.
Bring a critical, forward-looking perspective to business requests and spot opportunities for transformation, optimisation, automation, and innovation.
Turn business needs into clear, mature, and actionable requirements that development teams can confidently deliver.
Help shape the functional and technical design of applications and solutions.
Work side by side with the Epic Manager or Product Lead, Solution Architect, Requirement Engineers, System Analyst, Lead Developers, business stakeholders, and other IT teams.
Support the testing and validation of solutions so they deliver the expected business value and quality.
Take ownership of defects and operational issues by coordinating their resolution and providing functional production support, from incidents and post-go-live defects to change requests and quality-of-service follow-up.
Anticipate delivery risks, raise them early, and actively help the team resolve defects and recurring problems.
Your Testing Impact
Ensure the MDM Party application delivers a reliable, high-quality experience by testing it against agreed standards.
Carry out functional and non-functional testing, identify defects and deviations, and partner with developers and stakeholders to resolve them efficiently.
Create practical test plans, scenarios, and cases, and communicate results clearly and accurately.
Help raise the bar by continuously improving testing practices and quality standards.
The Challenge
This is your opportunity to work at the centre of customer data management. The IT Master Data Management team owns the MDM Party front-end application and the CIF database, which manage customers’ administrative data. You will help protect data quality and ensure that every relevant operational application receives accurate, timely updates whenever customer information changes.
What You Bring
You combine strong analytical thinking with a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
You have experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
You understand, or are eager to learn more about, front-end and back-end technologies.
You adapt easily to changing project needs and priorities in the insurance sector.
You communicate clearly, adjust your approach to different audiences, and enjoy bringing business and IT colleagues together.
You stay composed under pressure, focus on results, and approach new challenges with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
You plan and organise your work effectively.
You are fluent in spoken and written English, as well as in either French or Dutch.
What we offer
A nice reward for your work
An attractive salary, supplemented with discretionary personal and collective bonuses and of course, meal and eco vouchers, the full reimbursement of public transport, and a cafeteria plan. You will also have a mobility budget of 990 euros as well as net expenses of 150 euros per month.
The benefits of working at an insurance company
From group to hospitalization insurance and ambulatory care (family members can also join at an advantageous rate) and with up to 30% discount on all additional insurance products.
A job that respects your personal life and dreams
A flexible schedule of 35 hours per week, 36 days of leave per year to recharge, as well as the option to work partially from home.
You will benefit from sports classes at work, employee wellness programs and trainings, to keep you in great shape, both physically and mentally.
