What role will you play?
As a strong engineer you will help tackle some of the most challenging problems in the bank. You will be responsible for helping in the development, testing, deployment and maintenance of the products owned by your team. Drawing on your technical expertise, you will be hands-on in the code, solving technical problems and working closely with other engineers, product and delivery to solve complex technology issues within the team.What you offer
- Strong experience in designing, building and maintaining microservices using Java/Spring with a focus on scalability, observability and operational resilience.
- Track record for maintaining and improving code quality, rigorous testing practices and robust engineering and security standards
- Expertise in application reliability, uptime management and continuous improvement through incident response and post-mortem analysis.
- Experience with AI-assisted development, automation, or agentic AI integration, including tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude or equivalent
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly with both product and technology stakeholders from across the organisation
- Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team with success delivering complex engineering initiatives.
