Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve, clean, validate, and analyze data from Nasdaq proprietary and relevant third-party sources to support original investment research.
- Analyze complex investment and market data to identify trends, drivers, risks, and opportunities relevant to institutional, advisor, and retail/wealth audiences.
- Contribute to producing timely thought leadership — including thematic investment research, global market perspectives, tactical insights, and client-ready briefs.
- Translate quantitative findings into clear narratives, charts, dashboards, and visualizations tailored to different investor segments and levels of sophistication.
- Collaborate with research, commercial, marketing, and regional teams to align research priorities with client needs and business strategy, while maintaining analytical independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in investment research, asset management, financial services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of investment concepts, capital markets, asset classes, and the needs of institutional and/or retail/wealth investors.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to varied audiences.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python or VBA, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with FactSet, Nasdaq eVestment, or other investment performance databases.
- Experience using AI and large language models to enhance research, analysis, or content development, with appropriate validation and editorial oversight.
- Exposure to global teams and cross-border collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
This position will be located in Philadelphia or Atlanta and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
