UBS Business Solutions US LLC is seeking an Executive Director, Markets, Products and Structuring Lawyer in New York, NY.Are you an innovative thinker? We’re looking for an Executive Director, Markets, Products and Structuring Lawyer to:
• Provide legal advice and support with respect to swap and security-based swap regulatory and legal requirements. Advise IB sales, structuring, and trading with respect to derivatives and capital market transactions, including issues relating to US securities law, margin regulations, and Dodd-Frank.
• Work with internal control functions, including compliance, risk, credit, COO and client documentation, to give practical and actionable advice on implementation of regulatory requirements.
• Advise on ongoing implementation of, and compliance with, swap and security-based swap regulatory and legal requirements. Advise on financial transactions, including securities offerings, structured products, OTC trading and lending. Interpret and implement large, cross-border regulatory initiatives. Negotiate documentation of financial transactions.
• Advise on international and cross-border regulation of financial transactions. Advise and counsel with respect to internal control, approval processes and working group procedures.
• Can work hybrid (In-office/remote).

Your skills and experience
Education & Experience Requirement• This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Legal Studies or related field of study plus eight (8) years of experience in the job offered or as a Legal Counsel, Regulatory Lawyer, Banking and Capital Markets Attorney, or related occupation
Position requires experience with the following:
• (1) ISDA documentation; (2) drafting and negotiating transaction agreements and offering documents; (3) providing legal advice to investment banks; (4) implementing new regulatory requirements, with a focus on trading and market infrastructure regulations in derivatives trading; (5) financial markets and derivatives regulations; (6) providing transactional legal advice on OTC derivative and structured note; (7) preparing public and private offering documentations and related agreements for debt securities including derivative securities; (8) drafting and negotiating derivatives confirmations

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role: United States-New York-New York min USD 250000 - max USD 320000 /annumThe expected salary for this role will be determined by relevant factors which may include but are not limited to, role-required experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level.
