The Cluster Valuations / Market & Liquidity Risk provides IT solutions for the Financial Risk Management function. We develop and operate our systems in close cooperation with our colleagues in the Central Function and work in agile teams based in Frankfurt, Prague, and Singapore.
To strengthen our leadership team, we are looking for a Product Owner in Prague.
Liquidity Risk is a key pillar of our Cluster, and Commerzbank Liquidity & Interest Platform (CLIP) is the central IT platform for the liquidity & periodic interest rate risk processes in Commerzbank. The processes in CLIP are clustered in liquidity risk reporting including internal liquidity stress & Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR), liquidity cost allocation & net interest income (NII) reporting.
As the Product Owner “Liquidity Risk Reporting”, you will be end-to-end responsible for the calculation of the internal liquidity stress metric LAB (Liquidity Flow Balance) as well as the calculation of the daily bank-internal LCR. In addition, you will be in the lead for the overall CLIP stakeholder communication, data quality assurance (incl. BCBS 239) and testing activities.
Together with the Product Manager and the other Product Owners in Liquidity Risk, you are jointly responsible for the stability of the daily production processes, the compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, and the development of the overall product vision.
Your tasks
- You represent and actively promote an agile way of working.
- You take the lead for maintaining the Business Analysis Backlog, i.e. the prioritization of all tasks for the Business Experts in CLIP.
- You take the lead for the CLIP stakeholder management in close alignment with the other Product Owners in Liquidity Risk.
- You analyse internal and external requirements for your business processes and develop solutions that support the overall strategy and product vision.
- You coordinate with other Product Owners on dependencies and organizational topics.
- You contribute actively to the ongoing development of the Cluster.
- You assume functional leadership of your team and work in close cooperation with the responsible Chapter Leads and Scrum Masters.
Your Profile
- A university degree with a quantitative focus, e.g. Computer Science (Economics), Economics, Finance or similar.
- At least 5 years of experience in Liquidity Risk management, Treasury or similar role.
- Strong understanding of liquidity risk concepts and methodologies as well as internal & external liquidity metrics of large banks
- Excellent stakeholder management skills: Ability to manage conflicting priorities and expectations as well as ability to persuade and influence stakeholders.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear product vision.
- Experience with data analysis and relational databases.
- Familiarity with agile working methods in software development.
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking, and determination in handling and prioritizing conceptually demanding tasks.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
