Job Overview

The Product Management Senior Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for managing a broad range of Product Management employees, setting strategy and providing direction, leadership and budgetary management, etc. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics while coordinating product lines through product life-cycles in coordination with the broader Product Management team. The overall objective of this role is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase share of market and obtain competitive position.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of professional to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.g. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions) as well as negotiate and make decisions on issues/activities having critical impact/influence on company revenues, capital, or business operations
• Lead strategic product roadmaps, product development, program launches, and program marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product, as well as survey and analyze competitive industry landscapes to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
• Manage day-to-day product marketing for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies as well as help the team prioritize, negotiate, and remove obstacles to achieve business results
• Drive client valued propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
• Develop plans and execute functional strategies for a country, group of countries, region, or business requiring coordination and integration across units as well as provide input into strategic decisions affecting job family or function within region or business
• Manage client and competitor market research, develop product innovation roadmap, and address fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
• Oversee all aspects of program life cycle management including market demands, technology trends, and the competitive field as well as drive innovation by working with external partners/alliances to develop products, manage ongoing relationships, and prepare agreements
• Manage acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals as well as oversee identification and execution of opportunities and gaps business plans
• Define and launch new products, features, and capabilities including defining the product/feature and go-to-market strategy, and participate in technology development and market launch activities
• Develop and communicate a business plan to approach the marketplace, and coordinate and implement team procedures, client problem resolutions and client management
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of relevant experience
• 8-10+ years of managerial experience
• Required Licensing/Registration: Series 7, Series 24, Series 66
• Experience managing in a global and matrixed environment including managing cross functional areas with direct and indirect reports (e.g. risk, finance, decision management, marketing, operations)
• Working knowledge of the different systems, theories, and practices relevant to a function as well as practical experience of multiple business cycles
• In-depth knowledge of industry and competitor products/services

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

기업자금상품본부장(KR Cash Product Head)은 다양한 기업자금관리 상품·솔루션을 기획·관리하는 Product Management 인력을 총괄하며, 전략 수립과 방향 제시, 리더십 발휘, 예산 관리 등을 책임지는 고위 관리직입니다. 아울러 한국 내 Citi 기업자금관리(Cash Management) 비즈니스의 혁신을 주도하는 역할로서, 상품/서비스 기획 및 운영 전략을 수립하고, 전사 Product Management 조직들과 협업하여 상품의 기획부터 출시, 성장, 중단을 포함하는 전 과정을 관리합니다. 궁극적으로는 신규 시장 개척, 시장 점유율 확대, 경쟁우위 확보를 위한 상품/서비스 프로모션을 총괄 조율하는 역할을 수행합니다. 이를 위해서는 뛰어난 사업적 감각과 상품 전문성, 독립적인 리더십, 그리고 Citi의 국내·지역·글로벌 조직 전반에 걸쳐 협업하며 비즈니스 성장과 전략적 이니셔티브를 주도할 수 있는 역량이 요구됩니다.

주요 역할 및 책임

비즈니스 전략 및 재무 성과 (Business Strategy & Financial Performance)

• Korea Services 조직 및 지역/글로벌 상품의 우선순위 기준에 부합하는 기업자금관리 상품·솔루션 전략을 수립·실행함.
• 매출 성장, 수익성 제고, 시장 점유율 확대, 가격 정책 및 투자 우선순위 결정을 주도함.
• 재무 및 전략적 성과에 대한 명확한 비즈니스 성과 지표를 수립하고 그에 따른 책임 체계를 확립함.

영업 성장 및 고객 프랜차이즈 (Commercial Growth & Client Franchise)

• 고객 관계 심화, 고객 점유율 확대, 신규 고객 유치, 경쟁적 포지셔닝 강화를 위한 기회를 발굴하고 실행함.
• Sales, Banking, Markets 등 Services 내 여타 비즈니스와 협력하여 트레저리(Treasury) 및 기업자금관리를 아우르는 통합 솔루션을 개발함.
• 고객의 니즈와 시장 변화를 포착하여 차별화된 상품 역량과 사업 기회로 구체화함.

제품 혁신 및 혁신 추진 (Product Innovation & Transformation)

• 국내 기업자금관리 플랫폼 현대화, 디지털 역량 강화, 크로스보더 솔루션 등을 포함한 기업자금관리 상품·솔루션 로드맵을 주도함.
• 원화(KRW) 국제화, 크로스보더 유동성 등 규제 및 시장 변화에서 비롯되는 사업 기회를 발굴함.
• 지역 Product, Technology, Operations 조직과 협력하여 비즈니스 케이스를 수립하고, 투자 우선순위를 정하며, 실행을 추진함.

리더십 및 이해관계자 관리 (Leadership & Stakeholder Management)

• 책임감과 협업 정신, 사업 지향적 마인드를 갖춘 성과 지향적인 기업자금관리 상품·솔루션 조직을 이끌고 육성함.
• 독자적인 판단력을 바탕으로 명확한 우선순위를 설정하고, 숙련된 팀을 이끌어 실행을 주도함.
• Korea Services, 지역/글로벌 상품팀, 그리고 기능 간 이해관계자들에게 영향력을 행사하며 효과적으로 협력함.

• 기업자금관리 상품·솔루션 및 업무 전반에 걸쳐 높은 수준의 리스크 및 내부통제 기준을 유지함.

자격 요건

• 기업자금관리, 트랜잭션 뱅킹 및 관련 금융서비스 분야에서 15년 이상의 관련 경력
• 숙련된 팀을 이끈 경험이 입증된 8~10년의 관리 경력
• 글로벌 매트릭스 조직 내에서 건전한 독립적 판단력을 발휘하여 성과를 창출하는 역량
• 지급결제, 예금, 기업카드 및 국내·크로스보더 기업자금관리 솔루션 전반에 걸친 뛰어난 상품 전문성
• 비즈니스 성장, 상품 전략 및 복잡한 혁신 과제 추진에서의 입증된 실적
• 뛰어난 사업적 감각과 이해관계자 관리 역량, 그리고 한국 금융·규제 환경에 대한 깊은 이해
