Job Description
Visa is seeking a Senior Manager, Growth Marketing & MarTech, Asia Pacific to build and scale a modern, data-enabled growth marketing capability across the region. The role will connect growth strategy, performance media, marketing technology and first-party data to acquire, engage and retain high-value audiences, improve conversion and demonstrate measurable business impact.
This is a hands-on strategic role for a growth marketer who can move fluently between commercial objectives, audience strategy, campaign execution and technical enablement. The successful candidate will define the operating model and infrastructure required for performance marketing and first-party data acquisition, including CRM, data management platform (DMP) and customer data platform (CDP) capabilities, and turn those capabilities into repeatable growth programs across APAC.
The Senior Manager will partner across marketing, media, product, data, analytics, technology, privacy, legal, agencies and platforms to establish scalable acquisition journeys, audience segmentation, activation, experimentation, measurement and optimization. The role must balance regional consistency with market-level execution, privacy requirements and platform realities.
Core Responsibilities
1. Growth Strategy & Performance Marketing
- Lead APAC growth marketing strategy across acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention.
- Build integrated, full-funnel plans across paid media, owned channels, CRM, partnerships and product experiences.
- Drive performance marketing effectiveness through audience strategy, investment optimization, experimentation and conversion improvement.
2. Marketing Technology & Data Enablement
- Define the marketing technology roadmap required to scale growth and performance marketing across APAC.
- Partner with technology and data teams to connect CRM, CDP, DMP, marketing consent, analytics and media activation capabilities.
- Translate marketing use cases into technical requirements, data flows, tracking, integrations and scalable activation solutions.
3. First-Party Data & Audience Activation
- Lead the APAC first-party data acquisition strategy, building compelling value exchanges and consented data collection opportunities.
- Develop actionable audience segmentation based on customer attributes, behaviors and lifecycle signals.
- Activate audiences across CRM and paid media for targeting, personalization, suppression, lookalike modelling and measurement.
4. CRM, Measurement & Optimization
- Build lifecycle and CRM strategies spanning onboarding, activation, engagement, retention and reactivation.
- Establish measurement frameworks connecting media, CRM and customer journeys to commercial outcomes.
- Drive continuous optimization through attribution, experimentation, funnel analysis and performance reporting.
5. Capability Building & Governance
- Establish scalable ways of working across marketing, media, product, data, technology, privacy, legal and agency teams.
- Build playbooks, standards and frameworks that enable markets to execute performance marketing and 1PD programs effectively.
- Ensure growth initiatives operate within appropriate privacy, consent, security and data governance requirements.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Required Experience
- 8-10+ years of experience in growth marketing, performance marketing, digital acquisition, CRM, lifecycle marketing, marketing technology, customer data or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience building or scaling performance marketing capabilities across multiple channels, markets or business units.
- Strong working knowledge of campaign architecture, digital media buying, bidding and optimization, conversion tracking, attribution, experimentation and funnel analytics.
- Practical experience defining and activating first-party data strategies, including consented acquisition, audience creation, segmentation, suppression, personalization and measurement.
- Hands-on fluency with CRM, DMP and CDP concepts and workflows, including data ingestion, identity resolution, audience building, activation and orchestration.
- Experience translating marketing needs into technical requirements and working with product, engineering, data, analytics, privacy and security stakeholders.
- Experience with web or app analytics, tag management, conversion APIs or server-side data flows, audience matching and dashboarding is strongly preferred.
- Experience leading agencies, media partners, technology vendors and cross-functional teams toward measurable outcomes.
- Experience in a regional or multi-market role, preferably across APAC.
- Experience in financial services, payments, technology, ecommerce, travel, entertainment, gaming or scaled consumer brands is preferred.
