The team

Our team of Application Managers ensures that the systems work the way they are supposed to, and that everything arrives at the right time at the right place. They manage application development, from inventing new features, through software testing to troubleshooting system errors. This requires technical and analytical capabilities. Job Description:
As an Application Manager , you would have the following responsibilities:
- Participation in technical application development from start to finish (client requirements - communication with IT in KBC Group);
- Compiling the test plan and its subsequent implementation, providing support and user training;
- Incident management and resolution, coordination of follow-up actions;
- Reporting in SQL, using Jira and Confluence;
- Participation in projects.
Key competences that will help you succeed:
- Relevant experience in IT, application support, testing, business analysis, or a similar area (minimum an year);
- Strong willingness and ability to learn, with a proactive approach to building expertise in banking applications and payment systems;
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a must, with the ability and motivation to further develop reporting and data analysis skills;
- Intermediate MS Excel knowledge;
- Excellent English communication skills (you will collaborate closely with KBC colleagues across multiple locations);
- Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities;
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is considered an advantage;Interest in IT, including applications, databases, and technology in general;
- Ability to understand processes and think in context;
- Understanding testware cycles and principals of software testing.
