Job Overview

As the Digital Platforms Lead, Marketing Technology & AI, you will shape and oversee the core digital platforms behind Citi's public-facing marketing sites, including Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). You will translate marketing priorities around content velocity, campaign speed-to-market, and brand consistency into clear capability requirements for technology partners, while setting the vision for search, answer engine, and generative AI visibility across Citi's digital presence. Reporting to the Head of Digital Platforms & Transformation within the Brand, Innovation, and Content team, you will connect marketing, content, design, and technology teams and own platform delivery outcomes end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Act as marketing's voice for Citi's core digital platforms, translating business priorities into clear capability requirements for technology partners.
• Own the business roadmap and prioritization for the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) replatforming program and other core marketing platforms.
• Define enterprise visibility standards across SEO, Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to improve discoverability on search engines, voice platforms, and generative AI tools.
• Champion best-practice content and data structures, including metadata, taxonomies, and structured data, so marketing content performs well across search and AI platforms.
• Identify and prioritize AI capabilities that solve marketing challenges such as content production speed, personalization, and campaign performance.
• Build trusted relationships across marketing, brand, content, design, legal, and technology teams to keep every partner aligned on priorities and timelines.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of platform initiatives, defining success metrics and holding technology and business partners accountable for outcomes.
• Assess risk in platform and marketing technology decisions to protect Citi's reputation and ensure compliance with applicable policies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience in digital marketing, martech, or digital platform management, ideally gained within a marketing organization.
• Working familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or a similar enterprise CMS, with the ability to translate marketing needs into clear platform requirements.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and emerging Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practices, translated into actionable requirements for content and technical teams.
• Understanding of how content and data should be structured, including metadata, taxonomies, and structured data, to support visibility and AI readiness.
• Experience evaluating or adopting AI tools for marketing use cases, with the ability to connect business challenges to practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, bridging marketing and technical teams, with a track record of delivering digital initiatives end-to-end and using data to measure business impact.
• Bachelor's degree.
