Your role & work environment
As a Private Banker dedicated to the Polish market, you are responsible for developing and managing relationships with high-net-worth Polish clients.
The role is part of ING Luxembourg’s ambition to act as an international Private Banking hub for Polish clients, leveraging the strength of the ING Group and its international network.
A key focus of the role is to receive and onboard client relationships referred by other ING entities, and subsequently develop these relationships in Luxembourg through a comprehensive wealth management approach. In addition, you will take over and manage a selected number of existing client relationships, ensuring continuity and high-quality service.
You provide financial products and services tailored to clients’ financial, and patrimonial needs, while identifying opportunities to deepen relationships and grow assets under management over time.
You work closely with ING colleagues across borders, as well as internal stakeholders and external business providers, to deliver an optimal client experience while ensuring compliance with regulatory and banking requirements.
Your key responsibilities
Client Portfolio Management
- Take over and manage a selected portfolio of existing client relationships, ensuring a smooth transition, continuity and high-quality client service.
- Develop client relationships through a tailored and comprehensive wealth management approach.
- Identify clients’ financial and patrimonial needs and propose suitable financial products and services.
- Proactively identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships and develop assets under management.
- Process client requests.
International Referrals & Business Development
- Act as a dedicated Private Banking contact in Luxembourg for Polish clients referred through the ING Group.
- Develop referred relationships beyond the initial onboarding, with the objective of building long-term, comprehensive Private Banking relationships.
- Contribute to positioning ING Luxembourg as an international Private Banking hub for Polish clients, working closely with relevant ING entities and stakeholders across the Group.
- Build strong relationships with internal ING partners to facilitate referrals and ensure a seamless client journey across borders.
Client Service & Stakeholder Coordination
- Deliver high-quality client service while complying with due diligence, cross-border and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate the various internal and external stakeholders involved in the client relationship to provide a seamless end-to-end client experience.
- Facilitate effective cooperation between ING Luxembourg and other ING entities involved in referred client relationships.
- Participate in projects supporting the growth, consistency and evolution of the Private Banking business and its international client proposition.

As a Private Banker, you will also need:
- Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Taxation and/or Wealth Planning are considered an asset.
- Proven experience in Private Banking, Wealth Management or a comparable HNW client-facing role.
- Strong knowledge of wealth management, financial markets and investment solutions.
- Good understanding of tax, financial and patrimonial matters.
- Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to develop long-term client relationships.
- Ability to develop relationships originating from internal referrals and convert them into broader Private Banking relationships.
- International mindset and strong interest in working with cross-border HNW clients.
- Good understanding of the Luxembourg Private Banking environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, countries and business lines.
- Fluent in Polish and English mandatory, French is a plus.
