Mission
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Execution Trader to join our dynamic trading team. This part-time role is ideal for a professional with a passion for financial markets, strong analytical skills, and the ability to perform under pressure. The position involves executing trades in Equities and Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) during the late shift (5:00 PM – 10:00 PM), ensuring optimal execution and adherence to market regulations.
Main responsibilities
- Execute trades in Equities and ETD markets efficiently and accurately during the late shift. Experience in Bonds is considered a plus.
- Monitor global markets and provide real-time updates to the trading team.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the broader trading team to optimize execution performance.
- Utilize Excel and VBA to develop tools and streamline trading processes (an added advantage).
Your Profile
- Experience: Up to 5 years of experience in trading or a related field.
- Languages: Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of VBA is a strong plus.
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of Equities and ETD markets.
