We are looking for a Financial Risk Specialist to identify, measure, control, and monitor our company's exposure to market risk. The goal is to ensure the proper functioning of our Market Risk Management System (SARM), Liquidity Risk (SARL), and Credit Risk (SARC), in accordance with local regulations, the Board of Directors, and our Parent Company.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Governance & Design: Propose, implement, and update the risk governance framework. Design and adopt models, methodologies, and procedures for effective management of market, credit, and liquidity risks. ✅ Monitoring & Control: Evaluate risk limits by business line and operation; object to any operation that does not comply with established risk policies or limits. ✅ Reporting & Analysis: Provide global and specific risk exposure reports to the Risk Committee and Board of Directors, including sensitivity analysis and stress testing. ✅ Compliance: Ensure timely reporting (daily, weekly, monthly) on market risk management, counterparty risk, and reporting of results to the SFC (Superintendencia Financiera de Colombia) as per current regulations. ✅ Capital Oversight: Monitor minimum capital levels and the relationship between business lines and technical equity.Requirements: Education: Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or Finance. Preferred: Specialization/Post-graduate degree in Risk Management or Finance. ️ Expertise: Deep knowledge in Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Liquidity Risk. Experience: Proven experience in financial risk management and regulatory reporting.
