Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Microservices, Orchestration & Application Engineering
• Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Implement long-running business processes, state machines, and distributed transaction patterns (e.g., Saga Pattern) using workflow engines like Camunda.
• Write high-throughput, thread-safe code leveraging advanced multithreading and concurrent programming principles.
• Apply core software design patterns, SOLID principles, and clean code practices to maintain long-term application health and maintainability.
Data & Event-Driven Architecture (EDA)
• Build asynchronous, distributed workflows utilizing Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) with messaging platforms (e.g., Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Write, optimize, and profile complex SQL queries and relational schemas, primarily on PostgreSQL.
• Ensure end-to-end data integrity, transactional consistency, and optimal query performance under high load.
Containerization, Cloud & DevOps
• Package, deploy, and manage microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate applications into continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and system failures rapidly.
Agile Execution & Engineering Leadership
• Actively participate in sprint planning, technical design reviews, and backlog grooming in a fast-paced, demanding Agile setting.
• Deliver features with quick turnaround times while upholding high standards for testing and code quality.
