As an Operations Service Delivery (OSD) Associate within Fund Services team, you will support a portfolio of Fund Services clients by coordinating operational activities, managing client and internal queries, supporting governance and reporting requirements, and assisting with fund events and change initiatives. Working closely with business partners across Operations, Fund Accounting, Product, and Technology, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while maintaining a strong focus on risk management and operational excellence.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as a key point of contact for client and internal operational queries, ensuring issues are tracked, investigated, and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of operational services for an assigned portfolio of Fund Services clients, helping to ensure service standards, deadlines, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
- Monitor daily operational activities and key deliverables, identifying exceptions, risks, preparing KPI reporting, and processing issues, and escalating them where appropriate.
- Coordinate and support fund events and operational change initiatives, including fund launches, mergers, restructures, client onboarding activities, and other business projects.
- Assist with incident management, reconciliation oversight, operational risk management, and the execution of key control processes to support a strong risk and control environment.
- Partner with stakeholders across Operations, Product, Technology, and Client Service teams to coordinate activities, resolve issues, and support successful client outcomes.
- Analyse operational data and trends to identify potential service risks, control gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support audit requests, regulatory reviews, and governance requirements by maintaining accurate and complete documentation and evidentiary records.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing efficiency, reducing operational risk, enhancing controls, and improving the client experience.
- Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with internal policies, procedures, regulatory obligations, and risk management standards.
- Maintain a strong client-service mindset, demonstrating accountability, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, custody operations, or a closely related fund servicing operations role.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate accounting and securities records using defined controls and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to investigate and resolve exceptions in accounting or securities transactions, including tolerance or validation breaks.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause identification and prevention-focused recommendations.
- Ability to manage priorities independently to meet time-sensitive deliverables while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to clearly explain issues and resolutions to stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted working relationships across teams and influence outcomes without formal authority.
- Commitment to risk awareness and control discipline in day-to-day operations.
