Your area of work:
Step into the frontline of global financial integrity. As part of the Client Due Diligence (CDD) team within Trading & Clearing, you act as a critical first line of defense, safeguarding Deutsche Börse Group across international markets. You will take end-to-end ownership of Know Your Customer (KYC) lifecycles—from high-profile client onboarding to risk evaluation against our AML framework. In this role, you don't just follow checklists; you navigate complex corporate structures, shape robust compliance standards, and directly protect our reputation as a leading global market infrastructure provider.
Your responsibilities:
- Drive end-to-end KYC reviews for initial onboarding and ongoing periodic assessments in line with group-wide AML directives.
- Analyze and verify customer documentation, unraveling complex ownership chains and ultimate beneficial ownership (UBO) structures.
- Serve as a go-to operational escalation point, mentoring colleagues and resolving challenging, high-risk KYC cases.
- Partner closely with Compliance, Business teams, and external clients to steer seamless onboarding and mitigate risk.
- Evaluate customer risk profiles to ensure alignment with DBG’s AML risk appetite.
- Co-lead process improvements and test next-generation KYC digital tools to maximize workflow automation and efficiency.
Your profile:
- University degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3+ years of proven track record in AML, KYC, CDD, or Compliance operations within financial services.
- Sharp analytical mindset with a natural curiosity for deconstructing intricate cross-border ownership networks.
- Confident communication and stakeholder management skills—comfortable engaging with senior business partners and clients.
- Tech-savvy mindset with an appetite to master and optimize KYC systems and workflows.
- Business-fluent English (spoken and written); additional languages are an asset.
- Proactive mindset, high personal integrity, and a true team-player spirit.
