The Programme Overview
The Graduate programme:
- This is a non-rotational role so you will join one team and stay imbedded for the duration the programme. You will work closely with many other teams across the business.
- This will allow you to enhance your technical and professional skills, increase your knowledge of Banking and Technology and lay the foundations for your future career at BNP Paribas.
- You will be taking on real responsibility from the start and contributing to live projects.
- This is your opportunity to develop skills, build your network, and demonstrate your potential for a permanent position following the programme.

What You’ll Do
You could work in one of the following areas:
Business and Technical Analysis
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and understand project needs
- Document project requirements so development teams can implement them
- Attend Agile prioritization meetings and track progress using JIRA
- Debug production issues and learn the systems in depth
Application Development
- Develop and deliver solutions for key platform areas
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to bring projects to life
- Ensure your work is tested and ready for production
- Provide support for production issues and contribute to improvements
Product Implementation, Analysis and Support
- Deliver first-class support for business and IT users
- Document processes to build team knowledge
- Track and resolve incidents in line with ITIL standards
- Prepare environments for releases and support testing
What We’re Looking For
To join the Technology Graduate scheme, you should have finished your studied within the last 2 years or be graduating next year. Therefore anyone who has graduated from 2025-2027 will be eligible
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team and build effective relationships
- Exceptional attention to detail
- An eagerness to learn and adapt
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- A basic understanding of financial markets
- Experience with Python, C#, C++, Java, Angular JS, HTML, XML, VBA, IIS or Geneos Monitoring
- Software development experience with Python, C#, C++, Java, Angular, SQL or similar
