Your work profile

As a Senior Consultant in our SAP Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients with the intention of exceeding client expectations.

Key skills required:

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with strong expertise in Intercompany (ICO) Processes, Financial Accounting (FI), and Controlling (CO). The consultant will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and optimizing intercompany transactions, reconciliations, financial reporting, and integration with other SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Asset Accounting (FI-AA) and Lease Accounting (IFRS 16/ASC 842) to lead implementation, transformation, support, and optimization initiatives across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.

The ideal candidate should possess strong functional knowledge of Fixed Assets, Asset Lifecycle Management, Lease Management, Financial Close, and SAP FICO integration while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver compliant and scalable finance solutions.

Asset Accounting (FI-AA)

• Lead design, configuration, and support of SAP Asset Accounting solutions.
• Manage end-to-end asset lifecycle processes including:
• Asset Acquisition
• Asset Capitalization
• Asset Transfers
• Asset Retirement and Scrapping
• Asset Sales and Disposal
• Asset Under Construction (AUC)
• Asset Settlement
• Asset Revaluation
• Configure and maintain:
• Asset Classes
• Depreciation Areas
• Depreciation Keys
• Screen Layout Rules
• Number Ranges
• Account Determination
• Support parallel valuation and multi-GAAP reporting requirements.
• Ensure reconciliation between Asset Accounting and General Ledger.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end asset closing activities.

Lease Accounting (IFRS 16 / ASC 842)

• Design and implement lease accounting solutions in SAP.
• Configure and support:
• Right-of-Use (ROU) Assets
• Lease Liabilities
• Lease Contract Management
• Interest Accruals
• Lease Amortization
• Lease Reassessment and Modifications
• Early Terminations and Renewals
• Ensure compliance with:
• IFRS 16
• ASC 842
• Local Statutory Requirements
• Support lease accounting disclosures and reporting requirements.
• Work closely with finance and controllership teams during audits and compliance reviews.

SAP S/4HANA Asset Accounting

• Lead implementation and migration activities related to:
• New Asset Accounting
• Universal Journal Integration
• Parallel Accounting
• Ledger-Based Reporting
• Support ECC to S/4HANA transformation programs.
• Perform fit-gap assessments and recommend best-practice solutions.

Integration Management

• Work closely with:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Controlling (CO)
• Project Systems (PS)
• Materials Management (MM)
• Investment Management (IM)
• Support asset procurement, capitalization, project settlement, and lease accounting integration scenarios.
• Ensure end-to-end process consistency across SAP modules.

Project Leadership & Delivery

• Conduct business workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
• Lead solution design discussions and architecture reviews.
• Prepare:
• Functional Specifications (FS)
• Configuration Documents
• Test Scripts
• Training Materials
• Cutover Plans
• Support:
