Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced sales and relationship management professional to drive growth across our Financing and Securities Services (FSS) business. The role is responsible for developing and managing relationships with institutional clients, including asset managers, insurance companies, sovereign wealth funds, private banks, and securities firms. The successful candidate will identify and win new business opportunities, grow existing client relationships, and promote the Bank's full suite of FSS solutions. Working closely with Product, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams, the individual will deliver client-centric solutions, drive revenue growth, and ensure successful execution of strategic initiatives across the region.Key Responsibilities
Sales
- Drove sales growth and client expansion across ASEAN and South Asia by increasing wallet share, onboarding new services, and acquiring New-to-Bank and New-to-FSS clients.
- Built and managed a diverse sales pipeline while collaborating with Financial Markets, Client Coverage, and Product teams to deliver strategic revenue opportunities and cross-sell solutions.
- Acted as a trusted advisor to institutional clients, leveraging market insights, product expertise, and relationship management to strengthen client engagement and business growth.
Relationship Management
- Managed strategic relationships for key Financial Securities Services (FSS) clients across Asia, driving client retention, revenue growth, wallet expansion, and long-term partnership value.
- Led cross-functional stakeholder engagement across Product, Operations, Client Services, and Relationship Management teams to deliver solutions for complex multi-market client requirements, escalations, and service improvements.
- Supported business growth through RFPs, rebids, due diligence reviews, and strategic advisory services while ensuring consistent service delivery, risk management, and governance across regional markets.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Possess a minimum of 10 years relevant experience within Financing and Securities Services, Securities Services, Custody, Clearing, or Fund Services sectors.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of FSS products and a thorough understanding of client requirements specific to institutional finance and asset servicing sectors.
- Have a sound understanding of Financial Markets, Cash Management, and preferably Digital Assets, enabling a broad perspective on client needs and industry trends.
- Proven expertise in business development, sales origination, and relationship management with a consistent record of exceeding revenue targets.
- Exhibit a comprehensive grasp of client segments and buying behaviours, fostering trust and credibility across all levels from CFOs and CIOs to operational teams.
- Display strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities to enhance client wallet share.
- Maintain an extensive network within market industries, stock exchanges, and regulatory bodies, supporting market position and insight.
- Hold a relevant academic degree complemented by professional accountancy or equivalent financial qualifications.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating effective stakeholder engagement across diverse geographies.
