Specialist Executive Manager, Project
The US India Office of Security (OoS) is seeking an experienced manager to drive standardization, governance, knowledge management, and process excellence across the USI security organization. You will work closely with India and US-based stakeholders to establish consistent ways of working, strengthen execution discipline, and enable effective governance and decision-making. You will play a key role in maturing security practices across the organization and evolving sustainable operating models.
Reporting to the USI Regional Security Officer, you will lead a portfolio of security technology and physical security initiatives. You will work in close coordination with OoS leadership, program and project owners, technology stakeholders, operations teams, and other cross-functional colleagues. You will be expected to influence without direct authority across a matrixed environment. You will also support OoS leadership by providing operational insights, governance recommendations, and executive-ready reporting to enable effective prioritization and decision-making.
Work you'll do
Strategic Program Management and Alignment: Support strategic planning for the USI Office of Security organization ensuring all projects and initiatives align with the Deloitte US organization's overarching goals and managing project prioritization.
Governance and Standards: Establish and manage program governance routines, including intake, prioritization, milestone tracking, dependency management, RAID management, and executive reporting.
Operational Excellence: Define, implement, and continuously improve operational standards, governance processes, templates, reporting, and service delivery frameworks. Lead budget tracking and reporting of financial metrics to the MD/RSO. Drive continuous improvement to enhance consistency, transparency, efficiency, and service quality.
Audit & Compliance Activities: Lead process audits to validate compliance with Deloitte policies, established SOPs, as well as statutory and regulatory requirements. Serve as the USI Office of Security POC for all audits and reviews (internal, client, accreditation/certification requirements, etc).
Knowledge Management: Build and maintain knowledge management practices, including playbooks, SOPs, lessons learned, reusable artifacts, and documentation standards.
Capacity Planning: Collaborate with technology, office operations, RES, talent and other Enterprise Solutions stakeholders to align priorities, timelines, and resource planning.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Provide strategic reporting and operational insights to support leadership decisions, including high-level dashboards, metrics and reports regarding project status, KPIs, and overall ROI.
Change Management and Transformation: Leading organizational change initiatives, supporting adoption of new tools and methodologies, and ensuring projects deliver expected business value.
Mentorship and Capability Development: Coach Security and STO team members on governance expectations, PMO practices, and service delivery discipline to improve overall organizational project management maturity.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Coordinate effectively across US and India-based teams to support strong execution and operating rhythm, acting as a bridge between vendors, ES stakeholders, and senior leadership, managing expectations and ensuring clear, consistent communication.

The USI security team is responsible for the safety and security of our USI colleagues (110,000+) and facilities (6.7 million sq. ft.) across seven offices. Key program areas include Physical Security, Security Technology, Business Continuity Management & Resilience, Security Review, and Travel Security.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 11 AM to 8 PM
Qualifications
Required:
• Master’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Professional Scrum Master, PMP, PgMP, Lean Six Sigma or similar certification
• 12+ years of relevant experience in PMO, program management, portfolio management, operations, change management or process improvement
• 6+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or PMO functions
• Demonstrated experience maturing PMO capabilities, including governance, reporting, and standardization
• Experience managing portfolios that span technology and operational initiatives
• Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed environment
• Experience collaborating with global teams, including colleagues based in US
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Preferred:
• Previous experience in office operations, enterprise resilience, physical security, or related domains
• Experience with KM frameworks, process improvement or operational excellence programs
• Familiarity with large enterprise governance environments
• Experience leading change management and embedding new ways of working
