Level: Consultant or equivalent
As an experienced Analyst at Deloitte Consulting Services, you will be responsible for individually delivering high quality work products within due timelines. Need-basis you will be mentoring and/or directing junior team members/liaising with onsite/offshore teams to understand the functional requirements.
Work you'll do
As a Analyst, Functional Transformation on the Enterprise Performance team, you will be responsible for supporting Oracle Cloud Finance engagements that help organizations improve finance operations, strengthen reporting, and enable scalable transformation.
- Support the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Finance solutions across modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Gather business requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and translate business needs into functional design recommendations.
- Execute testing activities, support defect resolution, and help drive issue tracking through implementation and stabilization phases.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders and cross-functional teams to improve finance processes across Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles.
- Work with onsite and offshore team members to deliver project work products on time and support day-to-day engagement needs.

Shift Timings: 24*7 rotational shifts including night shifts as per business requirements
Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:
- Good knowledge in Configuring accounting rules, journal rules, event models, mapping sets, and chart of accounts (COA) within FAH
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 functional support tickets, system exceptions, and accounting period-close issues within SLA timelines.
- Monitor, diagnose, and support to fix daily inbound interface failures, accounting reversal issues, and rule validation errors between third-party upstream systems and Oracle Cloud General Ledger (GL).
- Lead the impact analysis, functional validation, and regression testing for quarterly Oracle Cloud Application Updates to ensure accounting setups remain unbroken.
- Design, configure, and implement minor enhancement requests, such as adding new transaction event types, updating mapping sets, or adjusting chart of account (COA) mapping rules
- Partner with integration developers to resolve interface data mapping anomalies or file transmission errors (FBDI / OIC)
- Assist business users with period-end reconciliation reports, data extractions, and modifications to Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI) or Financial Reporting Studio (FRS) dashboard
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues to provide permanent structural fixes and reduce the overall incoming ticket volume
Key Skills:
- Experience in an Oracle ERP AMS environment, with deep hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud FAH and General Ledger (GL)
- Strong proficiency in tracing accounting errors back to source-system data and debugging subledger accounting (SLA) engine rules
- Basic capability to read SQL queries, analyze data logs, and handle file-based data imports (FBDI) to identify integration issues.
- Solid grasp of operational accounting, month-end closing procedures, and audit requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to handle high-pressure production down situations and explain technical fixes to non-technical business users
