The position at a glance
The Information Security department protects BNP Paribas by defining and enforcing the security of information systems, data, and information. This role supports the mission through the Security Engineering Team, which serves as the technical arm of Application Security. The main objective is to integrate security into the systems development lifecycle and industrialize security activities through advanced automation and Artificial Intelligence.
In detail
- Design and implement automated security controls within the SDLC to identify vulnerabilities early in the development lifecycle through Shift-Left and DevSecOps automation.
- Drive the Vulnerability and Patching Lifecycle by developing automated workflows to reduce manual intervention during analysis, prioritization, and remediation.
- Develop predictive analytics and statistical models for security log analysis to identify emerging threats and trends such as Agentic AI for attackers.
- Build and maintain automated dashboards to provide real-time visibility to stakeholders regarding vulnerability trend analysis.
- Implement scalable, repeatable, and AI-enhanced security processes by leading the Infosec AI-Driven Automation initiative.
- Leverage Natural Language Processing for text mining of security logs, policy documentation, and threat intelligence to address insider threats and scale business AI agents.
The strengths and skills that will help you succeed
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Engineering
- CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CCSP, or specialized Machine Learning certifications
- The knowledge of English is required.*
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT development, security engineering, or data science within a technical environment
- Expert-level Python, PowerShell, Linux, and Bash for advanced programming and scripting task
- Advanced SQL, API integration, and data exploration for robust data and database management
- DevSecOps, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Encryption, and Vulnerability Management tools to manage the security stack
- Machine Learning, MLOps, and Predictive Analytics for implementing AI-driven security solutions
- Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP for security automation and detecting adversarial ML attacks
- Power BI, Docker/Kubernetes, JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, and DevOps CI/CD pipelines for efficient tools and DevOps integration
- Collaborative influence to drive meaningful outcomes for the department
- Clear communication of complex technical and AI concepts to executive management and regulatory examiners
- Reasoned problem solving and attention to detail when addressing technical challenges
- Committed ethics and high moral character to uphold a culture of compliance
