About Business line/Function:
Within CIB (Corporate and Institutional Banking), the Business line Global Banking is recognized universally for its expertise and its know-how.
GPCO (Global Payment and Cash Operations) is catering to different Asian, Middle East & Europe Regions to process Remittance Transactions/Domestic Processing/ Investigations & Alert management/Cheque Clearing /Deposits and Cheque Collections for various clients.
Position Purpose
Lead end‑to‑end processing, monitoring and control of Cash products (Remittances, Domestic transfers, Investigations Alerts & Deposits) across APAC, ensuring seamless operations that meet BNP Paribas service‑level and regulatory objectives for all sites supported by the India and Philippines Centers of Excellence.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
- Manage daily operations for Remittances, Domestic, Deposits & Investigations for APAC region.
- Functionally responsible for all Cross Border Remittances teams for APAC region (India and Philippines COE) ,
- Ensure Accuracy, SLA compliance & service‑delivery standards.
Risk & Controls
- Own outstanding & unreconciled entries.
- Implement/monitor control plans; contribute to the Operations Permanent Control framework.
- Adhere to defined KPI, KRI and on top of submission for RCSA, ICC committee.
- Representing in various Incidents discussion with complete details for
- management awareness
Compliance
- Enforce internal, legal & regulatory requirements (AML/KYC, banking law).
People Leadership
- Manage multi‑site teams (India & Philippines).
Set performance targets, conduct reviews, deliver training & succession planning. - Ensure a strong collaboration between 2 COEs with good People management skills.
Client & Service Management
- Track turnaround times, operational efficiency
- Resolve client complaints; support Middle Offices in meeting client needs.
- Be a SPOC for various stakeholders meetings to represent GPCO.
Information & Reporting
- Oversee MIS & KPI dashboard preparation, distribution & analysis.
- Provide timely insights to senior management.
Continuous Improvement
- Review & update operational procedures & SLAs.
- Lead process‑improvement projects, coordinate UATs and manage issue reporting.
- Drive the Artificial Intelligence (AI) initiatives within the team to bring efficiency.
Stakeholder Relations
- Build strong links with internal functions (Risk, IT, Compliance) and external partners.
- Promote a positive image with internal & external stakeholders.

Experience and Specific Qualifications (if required)
- Experience: Candidate should hold minimum 15+ years of experience in leading Cash Management and Payments Operations, Handling of muti-cultural teams and Knowledge of AI tools will be an additional advantage.
- Team Management : Experience in managing larger teams
- Education: Bachelor’s degree and above.
