What you do
You are responsible for the account management and sales activities of Allianz Trade Surety & Guarantee in Belux representing a wide variety of Surety customers, a portfolio of around 1 BEUR in exposure and premium income of around 6 MEUR per year which noticeably contributes to the achievement of profitable and sustainable growth of the wider Benelux organization.
You attract new customers by quality of service and build trustworthy relationships with customers, stakeholders, strategic partners and any other intermediaries to improve customer porfolio profitability.
MAIN TASKS
- Build and execute commercial strategy in a competitive niche market redesigning the customer portfolio of SME Construction customers to Large Corporate customers in various market segments
- Substantially grow the premium income and diversifying the opportunity pipeline and customer portfolio, improve conversion rate
- Lead the sales team of Allianz Trade Surety & Guarantee
- Manage an own portfolio of key customers and prospects (top 150 NL companies), contacts at board of management/ C-level
- Structuring of large, complex (international) transactions for guarantee facilities of 25 - 125 million with multinationals
- Develop relationships with strategic partners (Bank risk sharing agreements, brokers)
- Maintain (international) relationships with stakeholders (Allianz Trade/ Allianz Group and Surety & Guarantee Center of Competence)
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to Surety & Guarantee General Manager, Allianz Trade Board and NER Surety & Guarantee
- Active member of Surety & Guarantee NL Management Team and Local Credit Committee
- Act as Deputy General Manager, active involvement in all strategic and operational issues and projects (a.o. Risk Control Plan, Bonding Contract Documentation, IT Continuity Plan)
- Signing authority up to EUR 35 million (joint authority).
What you bring
You are an experienced professional in the financial services industry with a background in structuring and selling complex financial products, with a minimum of
10-15 years experience in relevant roles in a direct- and indirect sales environment such as account management, sales management including team leadership roles. You have a proven track record of successful experience in structuring of large, complex transactions with Large Corporations and you are experienced in acting on C-level.
Skills - experiences
- University degree in Law, Economics, Business studies or equal
- Strong risk analysis skills and experience in writing high standard credit proposals
- Proven experience in driving change in organizations
- Proactive and creative in execution of business strategy in a corporate environment
- Ability to analyze and negotiate legal documentation, and act as liaison with corporate legal council
- Strong communication-, coaching- and engagement skills
- Strong presentation and reporting skills
- High energy level, team player leading by example
- Basic understanding and training in Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools
- Fluent in Dutch and English (oral and written); professional working knowledge of French.
Salary
Due to the European Pay Transparency Directive, the salary range for the offered position is set between € 78.823,35 gross and €118.235,03 gross.
The exact determination of the starting salary will depend on the evaluation of the candidate's profile in relation to the required qualifications.
