Job Description

The Sales function drives new business and revenue by helping customers find products, solutions and services that meet their needs. Within Aberdeen Adviser, the Intermediary area works through non-affiliated and third-party intermediaries who support individual investors. The Adviser Sales team combines focused account management, collaborative selling and insight-led campaigns. By developing productive adviser relationships and connecting firms with relevant propositions, the team helps enable our clients to be better investors. 


About the Role 


As a Business Development Consultant, you will identify, develop and progress new business opportunities through proactive adviser engagement, targeted business development and strategic sales campaigns. Working in a team of three, you will help manage relationships and sales opportunities across 9,500 unaligned accounts, while supporting growth of the Managed Portfolio Service (MPS).


This Professional-level role offers the opportunity to build commercial expertise, strengthen adviser relationships and contribute directly to pipeline growth and quality referrals. Success will combine meaningful activity, opportunity progression, accurate CRM records and consistently high regulatory and professional standards.
