ResponsibilitiesAs part of Société Générale’s Corporate and Investment Bank, Global Transaction Banking (GTB) optimises and secures the transactions, treasury and short-term financing needs of Corporates and Financial institutions. This includes following services and products:Cash Clearing and Correspondent BankingPayment and Cash ManagementTrade FinanceFactoringAs VIE you will support the Global Transaction Banking Germany Team which is responsible for Payment & Cash Management and Trade Finance topics.. Managing client relationships, delivering a superior client service and support day-today-processing is part of the task.During your VIE mission you will be in charge of theses responsibilities:Support the execution and coordination of implementation projects for GTB solutions relating to new products, systems or compliance / regulatory requirementsParticipate in implementation and remediation projects which are led/managed by GTB GermanyAnalyse, document and optimise processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the organisationSupport the implementation of a management information system providing regular reporting to the GTB Leadership teamxxxxSupport in day-to-day transaction management, i.e. payment processing and reportingExecute data quality related checksPrepare client presentation in collaboration with Sales ManagersData Management A questionnaire will be provided to you in order to check your VIE (Société Générale and Business France) eligibility. For an efficient analysis of your application, please make sure to truthfully answer all the questions.Please note that it is mandatory to communicate us a formal proof of your M2 diploma validation at least 2 weeks before the assignment start. No VIE mission will start without this document. *Grade sheets are not accepted as justification of diploma.Profile requiredPLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.To facilitate the examination of your application by our English-speaking managers, we thank you for applying in English.Studies & experience:Graduate with a Master degree from Business/Engineering School or University with a specialization in Economics, Management or Business Administration/FinanceLanguage skills:Fluent in English (B2-C1)German is not a must but would be considered as a plus (minimum willingness to learn and adapt quickly)Operational, technical & soft skills:Profound MS Office skillsFirst knowledge in Banking and regulatory environmentStructured and result-oriented working approachHigh level of commitment and responsibilityPro-active team-playerStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to learn and work in a deadline-driven and culturally diverse environmentThe VIE assignment in a nutshellThis VIE in Frankfurt is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 12 months.The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space.
