Who will you be joining?
Located at Allianz's headquarters in Munich, the Global Sustainability (GS) team is the key driver of our Group-wide efforts to address societal challenges and opportunities as well as to integrate sustainable business practices into the Allianz Group's value creation. We support Allianz’ entities worldwide in the development of a consistent strategy and best-practice-exchange in the area of sustainable development and corporate citizenship.
You will be part of the GS team, which is responsible for the Corporate Citizenship (CC) strategy, our global community engagement programs, corporate volunteering and best-practice-exchange with the local CC leads network. Throughout the internship, you will have a chance to lead projects, plan and execute events and create communication pieces for internal and external channels, interact with Non-Governmental Organizations around the world and work together with Allianz offices and Foundations on international level.
How can you make an impact?
- Assist the roll out of Global CC Strategy in Allianz entities worldwide
- Support with project management in the area of corporate citizenship
- Perform data analysis and further research within the Social Impact field to support decision-making and strategic planning
- Support in designing and automating processes to streamline operations and meet requirements
- Support the implementation and monitoring of CC governance processes & tools to ensure compliance and effectiveness globally. Assist Allianz entities in understanding developed tools & processes
- Assist with the impact funding process by Allianz in collaboration with multiple stakeholders
- Support creation and execution of workshops, communications, trainings, presentation to enhance knowledge of Allianz entities around the world
- Collaborate with team on daily operational tasks
What are you made of?
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelors / Masters program residing in Germany and with valid matriculation during the full duration of the internship
- Excellent communication skills in English. German and other languages are a plus
- Proficiency in using AI Tools, such as GPT, Claude, Copilot
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in using other MS Office applications such as MS Forms, SharePoint, PowerBI and database management tools. Knowledge of Canva or editing software a plus.
- Prior experience or interest in the field of sustainability, corporate social responsibility is a plus
- Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
