Job overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Employer Brand Lead to champion the development and stewardship of AXA UK’s Employer Brand capability. In this role, you will be responsible for translating our organisation’s Employee Value Proposition, culture, and colleague experience into a compelling employer brand strategy. You will create a cohesive campaign framework and market-facing propositions that enhance AXA UK's employer reputation and support our talent attraction efforts. Key responsibilities:
- Define and continuously evolve AXA UK’s Employer Brand strategy, priorities and roadmap.
- Translate the Employee Value Proposition into a compelling external employer proposition, positioning and messaging framework.
- Establish Employer Brand standards, governance, campaign frameworks and audience/channel approaches.
- Provide strategic direction for Employer Brand campaigns and market positioning and recommend external partnerships and investment.
- Ensure consistency across Employer Brand activity and recruitment marketing assets.
- Partner with Culture, Talent Acquisition, Recruitment Marketing, Marketing & Brand and Strategic People Partners to maximise employer brand effectiveness.
- Monitor employer brand awareness, reputation, candidate engagement and campaign performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Lead and coordinate Employer Brand creative and content capability and provide specialist Employer Brand expertise across the organisation.
Work arrangements:
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events.
We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Your skills & experience:
- Significant experience in employer brand, brand strategy, recruitment marketing, marketing or a closely related discipline.
- Strong understanding of Employee Value Proposition development, employer positioning, audience strategy and brand governance.
- Experience developing multi-channel campaign frameworks and translating organisational culture and colleague experience into external propositions.
- Strong commercial and strategic judgement, including use of insight and performance measures to prioritise activity and investment.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and partner effectively across Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Communications and Culture teams.
- Strong leadership and specialist advisory capability, including governance of external agencies and creative/content partners.
