Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of Brand & Advertising, Scotia Global Asset Management (SGAM) with a focus on the Direct Investor channel ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What you will be doing:
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Working closely with the Global Brand team, manages the creative direction and timely execution of national advertising campaigns, event marketing, communications, integrated marketing campaigns and other strategic marketing initiatives
- Working closely with Media agency and enterprise, identifies channels to help grow our Direct Investor market share.
- Works close with agency and enterprise on media strategy, on-going monitoring and analytics to optimize strategy in support of KPIs.
- Ensure ongoing communication with key business partners including regular status updates, liaison between creative and media agencies, and other external vendors.

- Communicates and models the Bank’s risk culture and risk appetite statement throughout their teams.
- Operates in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
Do you have the skills to enable you to be successful in this role? We would love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or Communications preferred.
- Completion of the CSC and/or IFIC course preferred.
