In this role you will be responsible for:
- The successful candidate will be assisting in the engineering department with maintenance-related requirements and repair work.
- The incumbent will be reporting to the Artisan for operational and functional duties.
- The successful candidate should be able to work independently from time to time.
- Report any safety related issues to the Artisan.
- Ensuring achievement of sustainable production targets through executing delegated tasks.
- Identifying faults and report to Artisan.
- Compliance with the company’s HSEC system
- Grade 12
- Full N2 certificate including relevant trade theory.
- Applicable Aider certificate would be an added advantage.
- At least 2 years’ experience in an engineering plant environment would be advantageous.
- Candidate must be willing to work overtime.
- Medically fit to work surface and heights.
- Good knowledge of the Mine Health and Safety Act and relevant legislation
