UFS is accelerating its digital transformation to fuel growth through data-driven and technology-enabled Go-to-Market capabilities. The focus of UFS marketing and sales is to engage with chefs & customers through an integrated communication system via visits by sales representatives, chef demonstrations and digital touchpoints like the UFS.com website, mailings and segmented & personalized campaigns.
As a Portfolio Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for translating current and future chef needs into a strategic portfolio plan, managing the total portfolio through simplification, and leading launch and relaunch projects from product development through category communication.
You will be responsible for:
Collecting and analysing operator and market insights and translating them into business opportunities
Building and managing portfolio positioning and sustainable growth strategies
Putting Dutch & Benelux needs and business opportunities on the EU agenda
Managing multiple category simplification, launch and relaunch projects (link local / global)
Providing Brand or category content to support launches
Training the sales force team on product knowledge through Culinary trainings / selling stories
Driving business growth to achieve category and brand targets
We are now looking for a Portfolio Marketing Manager to strengthen our marketing team in the Netherlands, based in Rotterdam. You will be responsible for the total UFS NL portfolio. Your main interactions will be with the local team (multiple disciplines: chef, marketing, sales, board), the Belgian team and the Global marketing team on portfolio innovations and renovations.
Content of the role
Manage the mix of the current portfolio for the Netherlands
Lead mix development for innovations and renovations for the Netherlands (from market insights to the effective launch/relaunch of a product)
Drive growth for the Netherlands through perfect execution of portfolio related activities of the Integrated Business Plan (IBP)
Main interface between the Netherlands and the Global / European team
Main Accountabilities
General
Own Portfolio part of the IBP from development to execution
Develop Strategic portfolio innovation/renovation funnel (short and long term)
Strong local category knowledge and understanding (competition, operator needs and usage)
Analyse category performance and define & implement corrective actions
Drive portfolio projects with the relevant local teams
Portfolio marketing
Local portfolio management
Lead mix development for innovations and renovations
Own investor board topics and bring relevant business cases to the table
Promotional guidance per category
Strategic pricing: implement and track pricing in the market and take corrective actions as appropriate
Perfect execution of portfolio data in systems (pricing, naming, hero images)
Drive artwork changes
Troubleshooting
Passion to help the operators (the chefs) to love what they do
Manage portfolio and category marketing routine tasks.
