As the Beauty & Wellbeing Modern Trade Lead you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the sales strategy and operations of Hair Care and Skin Care categories within MT (Modern Trade), LTF (Large Trade Format), CVS (Convenience Store), and Premium customers. Examples being Lotus, Big C, Makro, CJ, 7-Eleven, Watson’s, Tops, Boots, etc. at a national level. You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and maintaining strong relationships with key Modern Trade partners. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of modern trade dynamics, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies for
• MT, LTF channel, aligned with overall company priorities and market conditions.
• Team Management: Lead, manage and develop a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve sales targets.
• Customer Insight and Market Intelligence: Get customer insights and direction as well as competitive intelligence to identify customer/shopper trends and competitive movement in Modern Trade channel
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with Modern Trade & Dcomm customers
• Negotiations: Negotiate and finalize agreements, contracts, and trade terms with customers to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Revenue Growth: Drive sales growth by setting ambitious targets, tracking performance, and implementing effective sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage CPP/TTS (offline, online, and omni), optimizing and monitoring budget to achieve maximum ROI and target guidance.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales performance against KPIs and targets, implementing corrective actions as necessary to achieve objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with trade-marketing, marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and effective alignment of strategies.
• Training and Development: Identify skill gaps within the sales team and provide training and development programs to enhance their capabilities and productivity.
• Perform and transform: Ability to manage the short terms sales targets with urgency and withing governance controls, while thinking ahead and strategically lead transformation: bring thought leadership in building exceptional customer relations, leading edge in store execution and building channels of the future.

Professional Skills & Experiences needed:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in sales leadership roles.
• Proven experience of working in modern trade channel, preferably in the consumer goods industry. Direct experience of Health & Beauty and dCommerce channels is an added advantage.
• In-depth knowledge of modern trade trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven record of exceptional relationship building with customers.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. Experience of managing tough channels/tough customers or managing a turnaround would help in role.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to understand growth drivers, derive insights from data and market research.
• The role would need the incumbent to travel nationally as required.
• Thai and English fluency
