Work you'll do
Strategic Reporting & Business Analytics
- Support internal stakeholders and reporting leads by integrating data from firm financial systems, reporting platforms and other sources.
- Translate business and financial data into actionable insights across Revenue, Sales, Pipeline, investments, backlog, pricing, accounts and other KPIs.
- Apply financial reporting and business-domain knowledge to interpret trends, variances, drivers and performance, and validate underlying business logic.
- Develop recurring and ad-hoc reporting and analytical snapshots that support leadership decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into scalable reporting and analytics solutions and appropriately challenge ambiguous requirements.
Data, ETL & Business Intelligence
- Extract, transform, cleanse, map, reconcile and quality-check large datasets from multiple sources.
- Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI and/or Tableau, including appropriate visualizations, KPIs and analytical storytelling.
- Develop data models, measures and reporting logic; exposure to DAX and SQL is strongly preferred.
- Investigate data-quality issues, identify root causes and establish repeatable validation and reconciliation processes.
- Learn and apply new data platforms and reporting technologies as the team's environment evolves.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement opportunities to standardize, simplify and automate recurring reporting and data-preparation activities.
- Use advanced Excel, SQL, AI and/or other automation technologies to improve accuracy, scalability and efficiency.
- Contribute to repeatable reporting workflows, controls and transitions from manual processes to scalable solutions.
AI & Emerging Technology
- Demonstrate practical awareness of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot and AI-assisted analytics, including responsible use in reporting and data workflows.
- Identify opportunities to apply AI to reporting, data preparation, insight generation, knowledge retrieval and workflow automation while maintaining data quality and governance.
- Understand foundational AI/ML, prompt engineering and agentic AI concepts, with willingness to apply emerging capabilities to reporting and analytics.
Stakeholder & Delivery Management
- Partner with USI leads, US leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to understand requirements, resolve issues and ensure accurate, timely delivery.
- Manage multiple recurring and ad-hoc deliverables, balancing priorities and maintaining quality under deadlines.
- Communicate insights clearly through concise written, verbal and visual storytelling to management and leadership audiences.
- Work independently with sound judgment while collaborating effectively across a distributed/global operating model.
The team
The Management Reporting & Analytics COE is an extension of the US Markets under National Consulting Enabling Areas which is dedicated to support all parts of Consulting including but not limited to Sectors/Industries/OPs and SGO Networks with robust Reporting and Analytics. The team supports various reporting/analytics requirements of Financial and Talent Reporting using SWIFT/Mercury data by driving continuous improvement.
The MR&A COE team is seeking to enhance their reporting, analytics, and insight capabilities by expanding the scope of work in several networks. The role supports leadership by providing reporting, analysis and insights around Sales, Pipeline and Revenue performance. This role will interface with various US stakeholders across the Firm: Strategic Growth Offerings, NBI, Assets Networks, Finance, and Industries and Offering Portfolios.
Location: Hyderabad
Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM
Qualifications
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in finance, reporting, analytics, or financial performance management
- Experience using Microsoft Excel for pivot tables, Power Query, and complex formulas
- Experience building dashboards in Power BI, including data modeling and DAX
- Experience developing reporting, analysis, and insights for sales, pipeline, revenue, or financial performance metrics
- Experience performing data validation, reconciliations, variance analysis, and root-cause analysis
- Experience managing multiple reporting deliverables and deadlines in a structured business environment
- Strong financial reporting, business analytics or management reporting background with understanding of financial KPIs, business drivers and reporting logic.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, Power Query and Excel dashboarding.
- Strong Power BI and/or Tableau capability, including dashboard development, KPI design and analytical storytelling.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data concepts, including data structures, joins, transformations and validation.
- Experience with ETL/data preparation, reconciliation and data quality across multiple sources.
- Ability to identify and implement automation, standardization and process improvements.
- Practical understanding of Generative AI and Microsoft 365/Copilot, with interest in developing deeper AI and agentic AI skills.
- Strong analytical reasoning, problem-solving, troubleshooting and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with ability to translate data and technical concepts into business language.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and maintain a customer-focused, collaborative mindset.
Preferred:
- Experience supporting executive-level financial or management reporting and performance metrics such as Sales, Pipeline, Revenue, investment, backlog, pricing or accounts.
- Experience with SQL, DAX, Power Query or Power BI semantic models.
- Experience contributing to AI-enabled reporting, automation, copilots or agentic workflows.
- Experience in a global consulting, professional-services or complex matrixed organization.
