In this role, you’ll be the operational heartbeat of our shipments, ensuring everything runs safely, efficiently, and on schedule while working closely with a supportive, driven team.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Working with the Team Leader to ensure that all operational based tasks are met within the area of your control daily.
- Observe health and safety procedures in relation to the DC operation.
- Ensure that orders are picked in an efficient, accurate and timely fashion.
- Ensure that we achieve the perfect order, to ensure that we meet all customer expectations.
- Co–ordinate pick waitings, minimising disruption to the picking flow.
- Closely liaise with inbound and outbound loading teams to ensure that the diary is run to plan.
- Have a desire to develop Leadership skills from the on-the-job learning and training.
MUST HAVE
- Experience working with computers would be preferable.
- Good overall understanding of our warehouse picking and quality processes.
- High level of Health and Safety awareness.
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines and targets.
- A flexible approach to work tasks and working hours to meet the needs of the business (including the willingness to work overtime as required).
- High regard for quality and safety and a good understanding of customer requirements.
- A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised.
- Good communication and team-working skills.
