- Development of waste and reef footprint
- Ensuring a consistent mining cycle for blasting cleaning and support of working areas
- Enforcement of mine standards and procedures, ensuring that the workplaces are safe
- Mining operation (production) – Conduct daily entry examinations, risk assessments, marking off support
- Identify the reef band and mark the face as per geological reports, and charge up the face
- Plan and coordinate mine activities in line with targets and objectives and stick to a workable productive mining cycle
