Our Global Market Risk team builds and maintains risk models across a wide range of asset classes. We support effective risk management by developing and enhancing models that meet changing business and regulatory requirements. In this role you will build and maintain Market Risk models, including regulatory capital models for traded market risk and interest rate risk in the banking book. You will work with a range of stakeholders to develop new models and improve existing models, helping our team respond to evolving market risk requirements.What you offer
- Strong understanding of quantitative finance principles and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Experience building high-quality software using programming languages such as Python, R, C++ and SQL.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualification in finance, mathematics, statistics, engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
- Ability to manage detailed day-to-day work while balancing longer-term priorities and deadlines.

Our Risk Management Group works as an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. We are a global team that aims to manage the risks of today and anticipate the risks of tomorrow.
