Lead Information Security Analyst - IAM

Wells Fargo is back in the office collaborating for fabulous outcomes!

This is a hybrid position and in the office three days a week and work from home two days a week.

There are no visa transfers or visa sponsorships.

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Information Security Analyst to help drive the continued evolution of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations.

Identity and access management sits at the center of protecting the company, our customers, and our business. In this role, you'll help strengthen the controls that govern who has access to critical systems and data, ensuring the right people have the right access at the right time while reducing risk across the enterprise.

We're looking for a proven IAM professional who brings deep expertise in privileged access management, access governance, and risk management. You'll partner across technology, cybersecurity, and business teams to execute critical controls, influence access decisions, improve operational processes, and support the modernization of IAM capabilities. Success in this role requires strong judgment, the ability to challenge assumptions when needed, and a passion for building secure, scalable, and effective access management programs.

In This Role, You Will:

• Analyze and optimize IAM business operations, ensuring alignment with organizational security and business objectives.

• Oversee identity governance, user access policies, and compliance with industry regulations.

• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, HR, and business teams to enhance IAM processes, automation, and efficiency.

• Develop IAM business strategies, metrics, and reporting to measure effectiveness and compliance.

• Support IAM program initiatives, including role-based access control (RBAC), privileged access management (PAM), Cloud, Non-Human Accounts, and identity lifecycle management.

• Ensure seamless onboarding, offboarding and access review processes to maintain security and minimize risks.

• Manage IAM-related projects, driving continuous improvements in identity governance, workflows, and user experience.

• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IAM technical teams to translate business needs into actionable IAM strategies.

• Monitor and enhance IAM risk management processes, ensuring timely mitigation of security gaps.

• Work with vendors, auditors, and regulatory bodies to ensure IAM operations adhere to best practices.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Information Security Analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• 3+ years of Identity Access Management experience preferred.

• 2+ years of Technology or Business Controls experience.

• 2+ years of Escalation Management or supervisory experience.

• 3+ years of related work experience in financial industry operations or systems.

• Experience with IAM technologies such as Okta, Saviynt, Microsoft Azure AD, CyberArk or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with authentication protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, LDAP) and compliance frameworks.

• Proven ability to manage IAM projects, optimize processes, and drive operational efficiencies

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
