Job Summary

• Client outreach for Know Your Customer (KYC) periodic reviews across FI and Corporate client segments
• Receive and escalate any new onboarding requests and support KYC requirements for time-sensitive transactions as required
• Support CET teams with document requests, escalations, and clarifications 
• Handle time bound transactions when it is out of hours for CET for new onboarding or LEM requests
• Assist Client Managers with escalations on KYC requirements as per the policy standards
• Understand the KYC policy and procedures of the bank and apply it to the periodic KYC review process
• Assist with document translation and language capabilities where applicable for KYC documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a service partner, work together with Relationship Managers, Client Managers, Product Sales, Operations, and other key internal stakeholders to solve client issues and identify opportunities to improve overall service for the clients

• Complete client outreach on a timely basis to maintain clients records up to date and prevent overdue cases

• Perform client outreach related to KYC documentation for all client segments allocated based on the regular review portfolio allocation

• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role remit.
• Comply with applicable Money Laundering Prevention Procedures and report suspicious activity to the Line Manager and Operational Risk team.
• Ensure adherence to Policies, Procedures, Processes, and DOIs
• Identify, report, and escalate deviations from policies, procedures, and obtain dispensation approval.
• Proactively manage risks and establish/monitor controls to improve the overall state of the risk management and operating framework.

Qualifications

• Good background of KYC policies and regulations. 
• Working knowledge of KYC for Financial Institutions with Correspondent Banking. 
• Knowledge of Financial Crime Risks (AML, TF, Sanctions). 
• An analytical and enquiring mind
• Good attitude and work well within team is essential.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish (as applicable).
• Diligent, detail oriented, highly organized.
• ACAM certified (is preferred but not required)
