Mobile Test Automation
Must Have: Testing Fundamentals, Java, Selenium, Appium, Functional testing
Good to Have: API Testing, Karate framework, CI/CD & Tools, Code Review, Qtest/Test mgmt tool, Perfecto/others, XCUITest OR Espresso
Job Summary: This individual contributor is primarily responsible for assisting in the development of the software quality assurance test strategy and works closely with senior team members to assist in the development of software quality assurance project plans.
In addition to the responsibilities listed below, this position is responsible for understanding programming concepts, JavaScript concepts, and Web Services standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum three (3) years experience in SQA, software testing or related field.
· Minimum two (2) years of Appium mobile automation or other mobile automation tools like Selenium, though Appium is preferred
· Minimum One (1) year experience in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI
· Minimum One (1) years of device emulation & simulator tools like Perfecto or BrowserStack
· Minimum two (2) years of Test automation using Java
· Minimum two (2) years of Test management tools like Qtest or QualityCenter
· Minimum two (2) years of Defect management tools like JIRA or Rally
· Minimum two (2) years of API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, etc
· Functional testing is mandatory

Essential Responsibilities:
- Completes work assignments by applying up-to-date knowledge in subject area to meet deadlines; following procedures and policies, and applying data and resources to support projects or initiatives; collaborating with others, often cross-functionally, to solve business problems; supporting the completion of priorities, deadlines, and expectations; communicating progress and information; identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities when possible; and escalating issues or risks as appropriate.

- Identifies and documents test defectss.
- Reviews functional specifications to ensure business and architectural requirements are testable.
- Develops test scenarios and executes test cases across all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
- Identifies, defines, and mitigates issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing.
- Adheres to entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards with guidance from senior team members, as appropriate.
- Reviews and validates testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.
- Provides input into test plans and timelines.
- Helps develop testing scope and approach.
- Assists in the development of the quality assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across multiple QA domains, by analyzing business and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability.
- Executes quality assurance (QA) project plans, with guidance from senior team members as appropriate, for minimally to moderately complex projects by identifying project scope, work plans, schedules, milestones, and critical paths.
- Generates scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provides daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management, as appropriate.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year experience working with Web Services technologies for system or software testing.
One (1) year experience working with Mobile technologies for system or software testing.
One (1) year in an informal leadership role working with technical teams.
One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership (e.g., Manager level and above)
Two (2) years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
One (1) year experience working with IT vendors.
Two (2) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).
Two (2) years experience writing IT technical documentation.
One (1) year experience working in virtual testing environments.
One (1) year experience working in healthcare testing environments.
One (1) year experience testing business system applications.
One (1) year experience working with data mart/data warehousing.
Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar certification.
