Good to Have: API Testing, Karate framework, CI/CD & Tools, Code Review, Qtest/Test mgmt tool, Perfecto/others, XCUITest OR Espresso
Job Summary: This individual contributor is responsible for guiding and influencing the development of a formal Global Quality Services Framework and for supporting the development of software quality assurance test strategies.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field and Minimum six (6) years experience in SQA, software testing or related field.
· Additional equivalent work experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
· Minimum two (2) years of Appium mobile automation or other mobile automation tools like Selenium, though Appium is preferred
· Minimum One (1) year experience in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI
· Minimum One (1) years of device emulation & simulator tools like Perfecto or BrowserStack
· Minimum three (3) years of Test automation using Java
· Minimum three (3) years of Test management tools like Qtest or QualityCenter
· Minimum three (3) years of Defect management tools like JIRA or Rally
· Minimum three (3) years of API Test / Debugging tools like Postman, etc
· Minimum one (1) year in an informal lead role working with technical teams.
Functional testing is mandatory

Essential Responsibilities:

- Identifies, defines, and mitigates complex issues, dependencies, and risks related to testing.
- Determines testing scope and approach, and collaborates with cross-functional IT and business stakeholders to review and approve the overall testing approach.
- Ensures test plans and timelines are aligned with project/program milestones.
- Leads and assists in the development of the quality assurance (QA) test project strategies, methodologies, and standard processes for moderately to highly complex IT initiatives across multiple QA domains by analyzing business and technology requirements to ensure testability and traceability.
- Reviews and validates testable business processes, test data, and test environment requirements.
- Defines and ensures adherence with entry and exit criteria according to Kaiser testing standards.
- Manages the development of test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
- Generates scheduled reports (e.g., test execution, defects, ad hoc reports) and provides daily test execution metrics to IT teams and management, as appropriate.
- Collaborates with cross-functional IT teams to gain buy-in and approval of test plans, and tracks quality metrics across testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
- Develops quality assurance (QA) project plans, with guidance from senior team members as appropriate, for moderately to highly complex projects by participating in the identification of project scope, work plans, schedules, milestones, critical paths, and ensuring proper staffing.
- Ensures quality metrics are tracked across testing phases (e.g., SIT, Performance, UAT, Automation, Production, Validation).
- Test automation skills are a must have, programming in Java, Karate, Selenium or any automation (API & UI) scripting languages requried.
- Debug failures using Splunk or Dyna trace is a plus. Ability to debug defects by looking at logs and traces is a must.
- Work closely with development teams in understanding technical requirements and using these requirments come up with test cases and test strategies.
- Work in an Agile and a fast paced enviornment
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with leadership (e.g., Manager level and above)
Minimum One (1) year experience in Native UI test tools such as Espresso and XCUI
Three (3) years experience working in a large matrixed organization.
Two (2) years experience working with IT vendors.
Three (3) years experience working on project(s) involving the implementation of software development life cycle(s) (SDLC).
Two (2) years experience writing technical documentation in a software testing or quality assurance environment.
Two (2) years experience working with integration technologies (e.g., web services, MQ).
Two (2) years experience working in virtual testing environments.
Two (2) years experience working in healthcare testing environments.
Two (2) years experience testing business systems applications.
Two (2) years experience working with data mart/data warehousing.
Some experience in cloud will be preferred - Azure is preferred
Master's degree in Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
Quality Assurance Institute (QAI) or American Society for Quality (ASQ) or similar certification.
