Role Overview
We are looking for a Techno‑Functional TLM SME with strong expertise in Smart Stream TLM (Transaction Lifecycle Management) to support a client initiative focused on automation of Nostro reconciliations. The role requires hands-on configuration expertise, integration capability, and experience in large-scale reconciliation transformations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support implementation & configuration of Smart Stream TLM for Nostro reconciliation use cases
- Design and configure matching rules, exception handling, and workflows for reconciliation processes
- Manage data integrations from multiple upstream sources (SWIFT, core banking, custodians, etc.) into TLMDrive Day 0 migration activities, including:Historical data setup, Balance population, Reconciliation readiness
- Support automation initiatives to improve STP and reduce manual breaks
- Troubleshoot reconciliation breaks and optimize matching logic
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, operations teams, and IT for solution deployment
- Ensure adherence to data quality, audit, and control requirements
- Participate in UAT, production support, and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–9 years of experience in financial services with a focus on reconciliations / Nostro operations
- Strong hands-on experience in Smart Stream TLM configurationPrior experience in Nostro reconciliations (cash & securities)
- Proven expertise in:Rule creation & tuning, Exception management, Break investigation workflows
- Experience in integration handling across multiple data sources/systems
- Solid understanding of reconciliation lifecycle and controls
- Ability to operate in a techno-functional capacity bridging business and IT
Preferred Skills
- Experience with:TLM Smart StudioWeb Connect componentExposure to large-scale reconciliation transformation programs
- Basic understanding of SWIFT messages (MT940/950, MT103, etc.)
- Knowledge of scripting / automation (nice to have)Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work in client-facing roles and fast-paced environments
- Proven track record in reconciliation automation and transformation initiatives
Level of Experience Required 5 to 9 years
Location and way of working
- Location- Bangalore/Pune/Hyderabad
- Working from the office at least 3 days a week is mandatory, with a hybrid model tailored to each domain’s specific needs
