Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Manager, Asia Pacific (Contract Position Covering Parental Leave)

Description & Requirements
The Inclusion, Diversity & Equity Manager will take proactive action in the Asia Pacific region on ID&E initiatives, to support and be responsible for executing the Firm's ID&E strategy, initiatives, including a focus on metrics and policies in the Asia Pacific offices. This position will collaborate closely with the various Inclusion & Diversity Committees, local leadership, and business services teams to advance ID&E goals.
The ID&E Manager will also collaborate with colleagues across the Firm's network and support the Global ID&E Lead on global programs, such as the firm’s gender equity commitment, and on regional/AP discussions and projects.
In addition to the above, other responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Delivery of ID&E initiatives in the region;
- Support the ID&E global team in delivery of key projects to integrate and embed ID&E into the region;
- Collaborate and deliver,when necessary,ID&Eeducation programming, workshops, and seminars to support all personnel and to further drive the long-term embedding and sustainability of ID&E as part of the Firm’s core approach throughout all aspects of the Firm;
- Manage and work closely with the office ID&E Committees and regional affinity groups to support their initiatives and programs, with input and contribution from Committee and group members;
- Liaise with external stakeholders across the region;
- Collaborate with the Firm's business professional teams;
- Support the development and use of ID&E-related data, metrics and dashboards, contributing regional insights and perspectives to help measure the impact of ID&E initiatives and strategies;
- Take part in inter-firm peer support groups and networking opportunities to stay abreast of best practices; and
- Monitor external best practices and relevant external thought leadership.
Travel requirements:
Some travel in the Asia-Pacific region may be required for this role.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 12 months, but ideally two years of continuous inclusion experience, within professional services, preferably in a large law firm;
- Bachelor's degree required; HR, Psychology, Organizational Development, Law Degree or Master degree a plus;
- Passion for the field of inclusion, diversity and equity;
- Self-motivated; and comfortable working independently, while staying connected with and supported by a line manager based in a different time zone;
- Strong organization skills, including setting priorities, structuring project deliverables, and the ability to manage multiple priorities;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, excellent presentation skills; and
- Strong computer literacy, including AI and Microsoft Office suite of products.
