Purpose:

The Manager, Policy Adherence & Effectiveness (PAE) is a key contributor to the success of the Retail & Small Business Credit Policy Adherence & Effectiveness team of Business Risk Management (BRM) in International Banking.

The Manager, PAE conducts reviews and analysis of credit files within assigned portfolios of both retail and small business lending products in International Banking. The reviews include credit file and data analysis for the product’s lifecycles: application & origination, underwriting & adjudication, funding & fulfillment, account management, and collections & forbearance, for the various delivery channels in the assigned jurisdiction. 

Key review metrics include:

The Manager, PAE is an experienced retail and/or small business lender (with an emphasis on the 5Cs of credit) with a sound knowledge of the Bank’s products and lending policies, combined with a good understanding of the Bank’s credit culture and bank regulations. The Manager is expected to work both individually and within a team, taking initiative and aiding as required to meet the team’s overall objectives.
