The Opportunity

We are seeking a Solicitor to join our leading Employment, Industrial Relations and Safety team based in Brisbane.

In this role you will work closely with Partners Aaron Anderson and Matthew Cameron, as well as Partners and lawyers across our national practice. You will undertake a range of work that supports and advises blue chip clients across multiple sectors on employment law, industrial relations and safety matters.

What you’ll do

The team provides employment law advice on industrial disputes, enterprise bargaining, industrial action, employment aspects of large-scale M&A and projects transactions, advice on compliance (including in relation to employment, anti-discrimination, safety and payroll issues), workplace investigations, interface with industrial and safety regulators, including investigations and prosecutions, and all types of Fair Work Commission and Court proceedings.

You will play a key role on matters and supervising and developing more junior team members, as well as an important role in supporting business development opportunities with existing and new clients. You will have extensive client exposure and opportunities to develop a network of relationships. You will benefit from exceptional learning opportunities working in a team of highly ambitious and collaborative legal and support staff.
