Job Title: Key Account Manager – Luxe Division (LD)

A DAY IN THE LIFE:
The E-commerce Key Account Manager is a critical role within L'Oréal's Luxe division in Korea, responsible for driving online sales growth and building strong, strategic partnerships with key e-commerce platforms. This role requires a deep understanding of the digital landscape, exceptional account management skills, and a data-driven approach to maximize sales and profitability within assigned accounts. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, results-oriented individual with a proven track record of success in e-commerce sales and account management.
- Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Cultivate and manage strong relationships with designated key e-commerce accounts.
ㅡ OliveYoung, Coupang, Kakao, Naver, Kurly, DS Online(SSG, LotteON, Hmall), Musinsa
- Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts, addressing their needs and resolving any issues effectively.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (BU, CMO, etc.) to ensure seamless account operations.
- Sales Growth & Strategy:
- Develop and execute account-specific sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities for growth within existing accounts and explore new avenues for expansion.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify key drivers of performance and inform strategic decision-making.
- Negotiation & Partnership Development:
- Negotiate favorable terms and conditions with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Collaborate with platform partners on joint marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to drive brand visibility and sales.
- Secure prominent placements and promotional opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Business Planning & Execution:
- Develop and implement annual account plans, outlining key objectives, strategies, and tactical initiatives.
- Manage account budgets and track performance against key metrics.
- Contribute to the overall e-Trade calendar, aligning account-specific activities with broader divisional goals.
- Performance Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for assigned accounts.
- Prepare regular performance reports, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends within the e-commerce landscape.
WHO YOU ARE:
- Education: Bachelor's degree required.
- Experience: 3~14 years of experience in e-commerce sales or account management, preferably within the beauty or FMCG industry. A proven track record of successfully managing key accounts and exceeding sales targets is essential.
- Specific Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong account management skills and the ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
- Deep understanding of the Korean e-commerce landscape and key platform dynamics.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to inform strategic decisions.
- Proven negotiation and influencing skills.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Fluency in both Korean and English is required.
