The Manager – Human Resources Business Partner has a dual mandate. Firstly, the role serves as the end-to-end HR business partner for the South Asia Pacific Regional Office, partnering closely with leaders and employees to translate business priorities into effective people strategies and deliver the full spectrum of HR activities across planning, budgeting, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance, development, reward, employee relations and engagement. Secondly, the role coordinates and animates the South Asia Pacific HR community, strengthening collaboration across markets, supporting consistent execution of regional priorities and acting as a key interface with Tiffany & Co. and LVMH stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Regional Office HR Business Partner
- Act as the primary HR contact for Regional Office leaders and employees, building a strong understanding of business priorities, challenges and talent needs. Translate these priorities into practical people plans and provide timely, commercially grounded advice across the full employee lifecycle.
- Lead annual headcount and labour-cost planning, budgeting and reforecasting for the Regional Office. Partner with Finance and function leaders to ensure decisions remain aligned with approved plans and business priorities.
- Maintain accurate data and provide meaningful analysis on headcount, turnover, vacancies, talent movement, engagement and other people indicators. Use insights to support planning, retention and informed leadership decisions.
- Manage recruitment from approval through appointment, including role scoping, job descriptions, shortlisting, candidate assessment, interview coordination, selection, reference checks and offers. Build proactive pipelines for critical roles and promote internal mobility across Tiffany & Co. and LVMH.
- Coordinate local and international transfers, relocation and immigration requirements in partnership with relevant specialists. Deliver an effective onboarding experience, ensuring pre-boarding, induction, stakeholder introductions, clear probation objectives and structured check-ins with new employees and managers.
- Drive annual performance, succession and talent review processes for the Regional Office. Coach leaders on objective setting, performance management, calibration, succession planning, retention, career conversations and individual development plans; follow through on agreed actions throughout the year.
- Identify individual and organisational capability gaps and partner with leaders to define appropriate development solutions. Facilitate access to regional, corporate and LVMH programmes, monitor participation and impact, and reinforce a culture of continuous learning and career ownership.
- Provide advice on policies, employment practices, contracts and local legislation. Coach managers through conduct, grievance, attendance, counselling, performance improvement and disciplinary matters; ensure cases are managed fairly, consistently, confidentially and with appropriate documentation and escalation.
- Lead engagement surveys, focus groups and action planning for the Regional Office. Coordinate wellbeing, inclusion, recognition, volunteering, town halls and employee committee initiatives, and use employee feedback and exit insights to improve employee experience.
- Partner with Compensation & Benefits and Payroll on salary benchmarking, offers, promotions, transfers, annual compensation and bonus reviews, benefits communication, payroll inputs and tax matters. Ensure employee changes are accurate, approved, documented and communicated within agreed timelines.
- Ensure employee records, letters, contracts, HR systems and reporting are accurate and compliant. Oversee the Office Administrator and partner with relevant functions to provide an efficient, professional and welcoming Regional Office environment for employees and visitors.
Regional HR Coordination
- Coordinate and animate the South Asia Pacific HR community, creating strong connections among market HR teams and regional HR team. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing, while recognising the different operational and legislative contexts of each market.
- Design and coordinate a structured regional onboarding journey for newly appointed HR colleagues. Ensure they understand the regional organisation, business context, HR governance, annual calendar, systems, policies, key stakeholders and Tiffany & Co./LVMH programmes; arrange introductions and follow-up check-ins to support successful integration.
- Maintain the annual regional HR calendar and coordinate regular HR leadership and community meetings. Develop agendas with the HR Director, gather market updates and pre-reads, prepare materials, capture decisions and actions, and follow up with owners to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate clear, timely and engaging communications to the regional HR community. Consolidate information from market, regional, corporate and LVMH stakeholders; tailor messages for the appropriate audience; maintain shared resources and ensure important deadlines, changes and priorities are understood.
- Lead the communication and implementation of regional HR priorities across talent, learning, engagement, inclusion, mobility, wellbeing, reward and HR operations. Develop plans, clarify roles and milestones, coordinate market inputs, identify implementation risks and monitor progress through to completion.
- Work with market HR teams and regional HR team to document, align and improve core HR processes. Identify opportunities to simplify workflows, strengthen governance, improve employee and manager experience, and increase the effective use of HR technology, templates and shared tools.
- Coordinate recurring and ad hoc regional data requests, dashboards and presentations. Consolidate accurate market information, maintain regional trackers and support the HR Director in monitoring progress against plans, deadlines, compliance requirements and key people indicators.
- Act as a key regional point of contact for LVMH HR matters, liaising with relevant Group and Maison stakeholders. Cascade Group communications and programmes, coordinate regional submissions and nominations, promote learning and mobility opportunities, consolidate market feedback and ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions.
- Facilitate consistent and timely delivery of core HR operations across markets, including onboarding, employee data, payroll and benefits coordination, annual-cycle activities and reporting.
- Strengthen capability within the regional HR community by identifying shared learning needs, coordinating practical development sessions and encouraging the exchange of tools, case studies and best practices across markets.
- Provide HR Support to adhoc business initiatives such as commercial events, market visits, business reviews, etc
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and at least seven years’ broad HR experience, ideally in a regional, luxury retail or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Strong generalist capability across business partnering, workforce planning, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, reward and HR operations.
- Proven project and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate a regional community and deliver through influence across cultures and markets.
- Commercial, analytical and digitally confident, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to translate people data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal English; clear, credible and engaging communication at all organisational levels.
- Highly organised, collaborative, adaptable and self-directed, with sound judgement, discretion and a strong client-service mindset.
