Role Synopsis
The Global Procurement Performance & Value Delivery Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining a single, globally consistent view of procurement value delivery, spend performance and financial outcomes across ASPAC/ANZ, Europe and the Americas. The role provides clear, accurate and timely reporting that reflects the procurement value delivery framework being reported in Compass and is aligned to Finance standards and governance. Serving as the trusted bridge between Procurement and Finance, the role translates procurement activities into measurable, auditable and finance-aligned business outcomes for senior leadership decision-making.
Category, Sourcing and initiative owners remain accountable for finding opportunities, developing the underlying value case and delivering agreed outcomes. This role is accountable for value governance, methodological consistency, independent validation, consolidated reporting and monitoring of benefits realisation.
Key Accountabilities
Global performance reporting and insights
Own the global procurement performance reporting framework across ASPAC/ANZ, Europe and the Americas.
Deliver accurate, timely and consistent reporting of procurement value delivery, spend performance, sourcing activity and key operational metrics.
Provide executive-level reporting and insight packs for Procurement Leadership, Finance and business collaborators.
Develop clear performance narratives that explain key trends, risks, opportunities and required actions.
Ensure alignment between Compass reporting, regional dashboards and enterprise financial reporting outputs.
Value delivery governance and measurement
Ensure alignment against the PVF for value measurement, savings validation, cost avoidance treatment, benefit attribution and reporting consistency.
Validate savings, cost avoidance and value-realisation claims to ensure they are credible, defensible and consistently applied across regions.
Drive adoption of common reporting standards, critical metric definitions and value governance processes globally.
Ensure reported procurement benefits are transparent, auditable and aligned with Finance governance requirements.
Finance alignment and business partnering
Supporting regional procurement leadership, partner where required, with Finance, FP&A and business leadership teams to reconcile procurement value delivery with financial outcomes.
Partner with Category, Sourcing, Finance and business collaborators to validate and appropriately classify the financial impact of sourcing initiatives and procurement activities across P&L, cash flow, Capex and Opex, in accordance with approved Finance methodologies and governance requirements.
Support forecasting, budgeting and business planning cycles through robust procurement performance insight. Identify, investigate and report material variances between forecast, contracted, reported and realised benefits, ensuring that corrective actions, risks and changes in assumptions are clearly documented and communicated.
Challenge assumptions, methodologies and benefit calculations to ensure accurate attribution of value.
Global spend analytics and performance insight
Maintain global visibility of supplier spend, business spend and procurement performance across regions and business units.
Conduct advanced spend analytics, trend analysis, variance analysis and performance modelling to identify insights and opportunities.
Identify root causes of performance variance and recommend corrective actions or areas for further intervention.
Generate actionable insight across supplier spend, business spend, savings, value delivery, risk and operational metrics.
Support category, regional and transformation teams with insight that links procurement activity to business value.
Reporting governance, data quality and process standardisation
Act as custodian of procurement performance, spend and value reporting data.
Drive improvements in data quality, integrity, transparency and consistency across reporting processes.
Maintain reporting controls that increase confidence in management information and support auditability.
Create and embed standardised reporting processes so regions work from one trusted version of performance data.
Act as Procurement’s primary point of contact for internal and external audits relating to procurement value delivery, savings reporting, spend performance and benefits realisation, coordinating responses with Category, Sourcing, Finance and business partners as required.
Digital enablement and automation
Lead continuous improvement of procurement reporting, analytics and visualisation capability.
Leverage digital tools, automation and analytics platforms to streamline reporting, reduce manual effort and improve accuracy.
Enable intuitive dashboards, self-service reporting and senior-leadership views where appropriate.
Partner with central Procurement teams across the subject of Digital, Data and Technology to enhance reporting infrastructure and analytics capability.
Apply AI-enabled analytics and automation where they strengthen data quality, insight generation or reporting efficiency.
Stakeholder engagement and governance forums
Engage regional procurement teams, global category teams, Finance, Transformation, Digital and business partners in a highly matrixed global environment.
Lead or support governance forums focused on value delivery, performance management, reporting quality and benefit validation.
Build trusted relationships across regions to drive adoption of common standards and consistent ways of working.
Essential Education
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Procurement, Commerce, Economics, Data Analytics or a related subject area; equivalent experience will also be considered.
Professional qualification or demonstrated capability in Finance, Procurement, Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence or Performance Management is beneficial.
Essential Experience and Job Requirements
10+ years experience in Finance, FP&A, Procurement Performance, Commercial Analytics, Business Intelligence, Procurement Excellence or a related field.
Demonstrated experience supporting global or multinational organisations and operating across multiple regions, cultures and time zones.
Experience managing enterprise reporting frameworks, performance governance and executive reporting cadences.
Strong understanding of procurement value-realisation methodologies, savings validation, cost avoidance and benefit tracking.
Strong understanding of Source-to-Contract, category management, supplier spend, business spend and procurement operating models.
Proven ability to work with Finance collaborators to align procurement performance reporting with financial reporting requirements and planning cycles.
Experience managing large, complex data sets and converting them into actionable senior-leadership insight.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial, commercial and operational data into clear performance narratives.
Ability to influence across senior partners and drive consistency in a highly matrixed, global environment.
High attention to detail, strong judgement, resilience and the ability to work effectively with ambiguity and competing priorities.

Financial and commercial competence
- Strong understanding of P&L, cash flow, Capex and Opex impacts; able to translate procurement activity into measurable financial outcomes and align value delivery reporting with Finance governance.
Global spend and data analytics
- Advanced analytical capability across supplier spend, business spend, savings, value delivery, risk metrics, data modelling, trend analysis and root-cause diagnosis.
Value delivery governance
- Expertise in developing and maintaining robust value realisation frameworks, measurement standards, validation processes and benefit attribution methodologies.
Finance business partnering
- Proven ability to partner with Finance leadership, FP&A and business partners to reconcile procurement performance with financial reporting and planning cycles.
Executive reporting and storytelling
- Ability to distil complex data into concise executive insight, performance narratives, risks, opportunities and management actions.
Global stakeholder management
- Excellent partner engagement and influencing skills with demonstrated experience operating in a global, highly matrixed environment.
Data governance and standardisation
- Experience establishing reporting governance, critical metric standards, data definitions and data-management processes that improve transparency and confidence.
Digital and automation capability
- Experience demonstrating Power BI, Power Automate, AI-enabled analytics, dashboards and automation to streamline reporting and enhance business insight generation.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Power BI and Excel capability, including data modelling, dashboard design and executive reporting outputs.
- Experience with SAP, Ariba, Compass, Tableau or comparable enterprise reporting, procurement and data visualisation platforms.
- Strong capability in data quality management, benchmark design, automation and self-service reporting enablement.
- Digital fluency with ability to apply automation and AI-enabled analytics responsibly to improve reporting efficiency, insight quality and consistency.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience in a global procurement, finance transformation, procurement excellence or centre-of-excellence environment.
- Membership of, or working towards, a recognised procurement, finance, accounting, analytics or project management qualification.
- Experience in designing or implementing procurement value management, benefits tracking or enterprise performance reporting frameworks.
- Familiarity with audit, controls, assurance or governance requirements relating to management information and performance reporting.
- Experience working cross-culturally and influencing across different levels of the organisation.
