Wealth & Retail Banking Apprentice - India 

Our 12 Months Apprenticeship Programme is designed to give you real responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to build your skills in a function that helps individuals and businesses grow, manage and protect their wealth. 

In Wealth & Retail Banking, we serve millions of clients across some of the world’s most dynamic markets. You’ll contribute to work that helps us deliver better experiences for our clients, develop innovative products and services, and use data and technology to shape the future of banking. 

Throughout the programme, you’ll: 
• Take ownership of meaningful work that contributes to real client and business priorities 
• Build your commercial awareness and understanding of how we serve, support, and build relationships with our clients
• Develop analytical and problem-solving skills by working with data and business information 
• Learn how digital tools and technology are shaping the way we deliver products, services and experiences
• Collaborate with colleagues across teams, functions and markets
• Strengthen your communication and stakeholder management skills 
• Gain exposure to senior leaders and thought-leadership sessions 

By the end of the year, you’ll have built practical skills, gained experience of working in a global business and developed a clearer understanding of where a career in Wealth & Retail Banking could take you.

• For technical roles, we particularly value backgrounds in Finance & Banking, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics and Statistics. 

Eligibility 

To be eligible for this apprenticeship programme, you need to have graduated from college in 2026.

You can only submit one application within a six-month period, so take time to review our opportunities and apply for the role that best fits your interests, skills and career goals. Your work location could be one of multiple cities including Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad among others.
